To be fair to him it was Crawley's call and really there wasn't a run, and he was the one left with the outcome.
I just mean in general. I don't follow it like I used to but it seems to me he usually fails with the bat.
I agree with what you say, I did feel sorry for him on this occasion, he was trying to get a good innings going and then through no fault of his own, he gets run out.
Absolutely bloody useless! Woakes top scoring, in a test side! Tough on Burns but seeing it played back he could have put a dive in, would have saved him.
australia doing their very best england impersonation. currently 63/6 after 20 minutes play today. wood atoning for his first three overs yesterday.
England 86-3, it's on a knife-edge, or the brink, maybe the cusp? Anyway, we'll get a result inside 24 hours, or 48...
No doubt it's a difficult batting pitch, but this smells of the heart and desire to be there has gone and they just want to get on the flight home. To be honest, it's been like that since the first test, either the arduous time in various bubbles and lockdowns seems to have taken its toll.
that was absolutely pathetic. the bowlers just about did their job but the batters would struggle to make it into a village 2nd XI.
