We constantly seem to bringing in strikers on loan, fair enough we are having a few injury problems up there but it makes you think surely Midson would have had a place in our team this year.
    We've had:
    Lewis Guy- Pretty poor.
Andy Haworth- Lively but not scoring.
Robbie Hall- Good signing knocking in the goals.
Jonathan Franks- Injured and went straight back.
    Danny Philliskirk- No real experience.
Then there's Jack Midson who we let go and he has scored 8 goals and is the divisions second top scorer. We really should have kept him!

I totally agree mate, letting Midson go was a mistake IMO. Certainly none of the above, except Robbie Hall, are as good or as effective as Midson

lets see come end of the season who has more goals Beano or Midson, i would of liked midson to stay to but he isnt going to start over beano so fair play to him moved on and playing week in week out and getting goals.
when TC is back and beano gets going we will be fine.

Talking of strikers Matty Green has signed permanently for Mansfield today

All the best Greeny, I thought you did an excellent job for us in the Conference - especially at Wembley!!

Hall has been recalled to west ham due to shortage of strikers.

Absolutely gutted, hopefully we'll see him back in jan? But think we'll feel the impact of him not playing straight away :(

Shame, as a hammer I like to see our youngsters playing competetivly, I think he'll be sitting on the bench until Cole or Carew regain fitness. I suspect he'll be sent back in Jan, unless he gets some games and scores, then possibly we'll look at league 1 instead, although sending him to smewhere familiar will weigh in your favour.
    good luck for your season.

Hopefully we'll see him in an Oxford shirt again, although I suspect if he's allowed out on loan again the old pals act will kick in and he'll be on his way to the County Ground

If he comes back to Oxford until the end of the season we might be in L1 for next season.

    Heres hoping.
