The Queen Is Dead is a great listen as an introduction to The Smiths.

Funnily enough I listened to that last night after the other track posted reminded me of it. Good tune, if you find any others by him I'd be interested to have a listen, I've tried a couple but didn't like them anywhere near as much.

I usually go to Kavinsky profile page in Spotify and click Kavinsky radio which automatically finds similar artists.

I loved these films, and to see the music come to life, like it does here....wow!
Maybe not something for the young uns, but at least have a listen.
I would love to see something like this live.....

This really annoyed me the first time I saw it but I've come to love it ...

... the control the lass has, in her voice, is really impressive.

The concentration in her face is commendable imo.

I like that song. Seems that me and you have got quite similar taste, I think this is the third relatively obscure band we've both liked.

I've noticed that tbh mate, it's quite funny.

I doubt you've seen this band so I'm going out on a limb here ...

... we saw them in Mantova, Italy, when we were driving to Venice.

The most insane three hours of my life.

It's 2.50 am, and ive been having a really tough time. I've had to say goodbye to my dog, and best mate of 14 years, Charlie. My wife's mam (who I love dearly) is at deaths door, and I'm struggling. Really struggling.

I'm posting this....a stripped down version of Crawling, by Linkin Park.

The singer, Chester Bennington took his own life.
He struggled with depression, suffered abuse, and his lyrics reflect what he was going through.
Watch the video....look at the crowd reaction. I wonder just how many people he helped with this song, how many people are still here because they connected with this.

Keep going mate. Sounds like it's pretty dark at the moment.

But there will be loads of people concerned for you, and who have your back. Loads. Talk to them, almost everyone is ready to listen. And you are bloody good value on here too.

There is always a bit of light. Keep on keeping on, as old Curtis used to say.

    @Nig @Makemstine Roger @gelders pie @rowley and @Montysoptician

Thank you all for your replies, and your concern, it was really appreciated, and very helpful. You really have lifted my spirits, and to know that complete strangers on an Internet footy forum offered help and support, well, I am truly humbled.

I know I had been bottling things up, and last night things seemed to have come to a head, and had a bit of a meltdown, and I feel much better for it. I think I needed that happen...to "let go" so to speak.

I really can't thank you all enough for your support, advice, and kind words.

    Onwards and upwards from here.
