I like Jota as a goalscorer, but he doesn't do much else

 

Get minamino away from the middle and put jota in the ****ing box!

He is the only man we have who will run tonight yard and score.

Trent is having an absolute mare

 

Jones would be better in the packed area. Ox is better with space to run into.

Heck could Get Gordon wide with some pace and get minamino into midfield.

 

Absolutely terrible corners, half asleep on it and terrible frees etc.

Clearly klopp wants him warmed up for brentford

Right. Can anyone explain why trent gets to stand there watching the game round him with henderson wide right and fimrono out of middle doing his job.

Please explain this tactic

We must stretch there's sides properly but the goal scorers (firmino and jota) must must get in the middle to score.

 

Be similar to Chelsea game this

 

We never seem to take advantage of the extra man. Other team getting a red doesn't usually work out like we'd hope.

 

Half time can't come soon enough.

Our best hope right now is ****ing pens. Our heads have gone playing v 10 men. It tells me theres no faith in that forward line in the rest.

Why is Milner needed against 10 men? Hook him off and get Ox on.

Well hopefully the team have learned from the second half of Chelsea. Need to stretch them. Don’t like them just force us through the middle where they have 10 players. Need to try pull them wide to create gaps.

General passing has been good and build up was nice but just nothing happening around the box. Can see changes at HT. Surely Jones will come on for some trickery in crowded areas.

Problem is if we’re not a goal or two up but 60 mins will klopp still take Jota/firmino off to save them.

 

I mean it's obviously our best goal scored 40 yards from goal while trent hangs round marked up insde him and minamino wants to hang round outside the box looking for second ball when we need someone on first ball.

I would hook milner and maybe minamino and get someone wide on each flank.

Go 343 with fabinho between matip and vvd and tell trent he's on the touchline and robbo knows the score anyway.

Our issue is zero options bar a 17 year old here but he won't do the job on a day like this

Ox is a bad option but has a shot on him. He will spend 45 mins ahead of the ball with nobody to pass to him lol.

Maybe we could stick williams on and tell trent to PLAY CM IF HE THINKS HE CAN PASS LOL

Minamino is just...meh. He has a lot of skill clearly and looks busy, but doesn't seem to do anything with it or lacks the confidence to use the ball properly. I just don't see that he offers anything.
