i’d never call him stupid. Just amoral. of course there are more important things happening, in the world. I’d expect nothing less from him so it neither surprises or disappoints me personally… but it comes down to trust, I never had any in him to break. A lot of people did and have had that broken now and it’s often these ‘trivial’ (to some) things that resonate with people and end up being decisive.
Not really, I can understand how people were put off voting for Labour back then. He was never going to get elected with his policies, too far left for the majority, I think that's a given. The issue now, 3 years later, is the shower of **** we're left with, and if the only response from BJ's supporters is "Well Corbyn would have been worse" it shows there are no redeeming features about this PM and government.
That’s just a statement of fact. TFFT I was beginning to worry about you As the next GE is in three years time, apart from a change of leader, there’s nothing that can be done, so there’s no point in moaning about it (unless moaning floats your boat)
The 'IRA supporting' thing doesn't go far to slate Corbyn (I agree that he was unelectable) when the Tories actually had a former IRA member acting as a Councillor.
I thought that the guy getting the gong from 30 years ago was the first Mr Motivator? Or am I mixing threads. More coffee neede.
That's an opinion, and a debatable one in hindsight. But that subject's been done to death on here. Awwww, thanks Forza. There's really no need. It doesn't seem that long ago that there was serious talk of the government calling an early GE. Absolutely no way they'd risk that now and the Tories will definitely have a new leader bedded in by the time the next GE comes along. I've been saying for months that he was living on borrowed time and that his own party would ditch him. Frankly I can't believe it's taken this long.
As someone with recognised no role in government he absolutely shouldn't have gotten involved. He legitimised PIRA through doing so, as they've stated. Having said that, someone needed to talk to them, which TF, they did.
Has he not delivered the end result though? Brexit to which he was also willing to go in with no deal and play hardball and the vaccination roll out with the country returning to a more normal world than the rest of Europe. He can lie 24hrs a day for all I care as long as the long term goal gets met. He lied about garden parties, like I said it just doesn’t bother me. Main stream media and the likes of Beth Rigby hate him so they’ll pile it on. I visit around 30 homes a day speaking to people, I guarantee you there are nowhere near the amount upset with him enough to want him out. MSM are not reporting a true reflection of public opinion. Energy price rises in April are scaring people ****less, if he fixes that issue nobody but the far left will give a toss about garden parties. Once a few more realise an election runs the risk of an SNP coalition I’d expect Boris or his replacement will once again romp home
