I think it is TC-ACN. I got that from a ‘PC Works’ post before the Everton game. MoH pcworks is too quick for me!
A fans group will step in and buy us as well as making the KCOM a community interest. Life will be wonderful as we go forward.
Wonder how he’s funding it? mortgage on the smc? A man in a rush and likes to gets things done quickly V Hull City Council how will it end?
I just hope he listens to the fans Chazz. That would be a start, let alone doing anything that gets any of us onside.
Which fans tho mate? Keep ticket prices cheap and sort the queues out for food and drink I’m not arsed about anything else as you know It really doesn’t bother me if acun comes out and tells us he loves us all and values us
I don’t disagree and my approach is a simple healthy scepticism. I hate all the big talk at the start of any take over as trust and goodwill is built over time. A couple of flashy signings or some free tickets at the start is fine but it is how the club moves forward and communicates is the key for me. To answer your question directly, I don’t believe ANY section of fans or ideas were seriously taken on board by the Allams, so at least listening and demonstrably communicating with the fans will be a start.
Apparently its "Speed Tape" "What you’re actually seeing is a heavy-duty aluminium bonding tape known as “speed tape.” It’s a temporary fix and it’s used only on superficial or noncritical components, until more substantive repairs are made later on. The tape is extremely durable and is able to expand and contract through a wide range of temperatures." “We never use, and don’t even stock, duct tape,” explains a veteran airline mechanic. “Some of the tapes we use cost hundreds, even thousands, of dollars per roll. Speed tape is one of those. Last I heard, it costs about $700 per four-inch wide roll. It’s approved by the manufacturer, FAA and company engineering department for certain repairs — always temporary.” Via Google: Oh My God There’s Duct Tape On My Plane! (askthepilot.com)
One of the pistons on my first mini went, and a guy i worked with said bring it round to my garage & we'll repair it together. the Cylinder head had gone too so a quick trip to Willinghams for a 2nd hand one and when we got back, he took the new gasket, and said "Ive got something a bit special for this, my 'leaving present' from the RAF. an electric blue gel he smeared on the gasket. Turned out to be the seal gel they used to repair the Harrier Jump jets he used to work on! My God that car went better than new afterwards!
Aussie rules mate ? Someone in Perth W.A once asked me if the Freemantle Dockers had won? I replied by saying I didn't know they were on strike.
At best it seems like we won't have a forward for the next 3, with 3 games in a week. It just seems bizarre to me, especially as he's our first choice and we're already without Wilks
Its beyond bizarre, it’s just wrong! As others have said replacements must be sorted but it’s a huge gamble, what happens if the take over gets delayed for some reason?!
There's absolutely no suggestion he'll be looking to do anything with the council, and no suggestion that there'd be any issue if he did. Only the Allams had an issue with them. Previously you might recall the council worked with our owners to sort us a new stadium out of council funds. You're obviously very keen for the council to be big baddies rather than just one of many parties that the Allams had a silly spat with.
