Looks like the Magennis departure about to be confirmed. Interesting it's going to be sanctioned before the takeover is ticked off.
Not sure if I'm being wooshed with a joke, but I don't think we would need to literally copy that design, but I guess my point is we could update and refine the tiger head design without losing our heritage. I think there's an interesting element of nostalgia and refusal to let go of a particular era's design, and I think it's a bit of a shame.
It seems pretty risky, he's our first choice and there's no suggestion we're close to signing a forward yet either
Well said that man. He is not even our owner and some are already making him out to be our saviour. Hope we don't become too Turkeyfied (new word)
Stuffed is certainly easier to spell but Turkeyfied is more classy lol. Downside is if you add an L near the end and you get Turkeyfield which is a load of gobble do goock
It surely must mean one or two decent strikers are near enough nailed on to join in the coming days, otherwise it's crazy, even near suicidal.
Totally agree HT2! That said The Allams have lowered that bar to such an extent that it's difficult not to imagine that the grass won't be greener post Acuns acquisition of the club. How long it will remain greener is anyone's guess, but I for one like a few others I suspect are at the point were we just want to see The Allams gone!
My hope as well is that if things don't work out for Acun he won't hold onto the club for as long as the Allams did. I suppose the big concern is almost, who would he sell us to? He might not be as 'diligent' as the Allams with ensuring we don't end up with a rubbish owner. I'm sort of nervous about having quite an excitable owner because he could just as quickly stop being so excitable. I'd much rather a long term, local owner who is quite happy to put in enough money to have us competitive, but not so much as to risk our future.
