West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd
    Sunday 16th January@14:00 | London Stadium

Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo face a race against time to be fit for Sunday, as Leeds face their second visit in a week to the London Stadium, home of West Ham Utd. Having unjustly lost 2-0 in the FA Cup, their misery has been compounded with the news that Sam Greenwood will miss the trip to East London following the injury he picked up on Sunday. Should Bamford and Rodrigo not recover in time, the Whites will be without any recognisable forwards. Should this be the case, Bielsa is likely to opt for either Raphinha or James to lead the line

Bielsa will be without Pascal Sruijk, Liam Cooper, Jamie Shackleton, Kalvin Phillips, Charlie Cresswell and Joe Gelhardt. Tyler Roberts and Diego Llorente also miss out as they serve a one match suspension, though Roberts is injured anyway. Junior Firpo will return to the starting line up after suffering a possible concussion after being clattered by Meslier on Sunday.

West Ham have no new injury worries following their 2-0 win over Norwich last night (Wednesday). Aaron Cresswell returned after almost four months on the sidelines. He completed 90 minutes, and looks set to start on Sunday. Nikola Vlasic will deputise for Said Benrahma who is away on International Duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.

    Tough match this one.

We all sort of fancy we can get something but the evidence strongly suggests otherwise. The Hammers have beaten us 4 times since promotion (3 league & 1 cup) and definitely seem to have our measure.

Were it to happen this really would be a victory to savour.

Think we have been super unlucky against them. Last season we completely battered them but couldn't score, we even had a good goal chalked off for Bamfords testicle according to VAR. Those were the days when every pundit said we couldnt defend set pieces and we got bullied by big CBs and Dawson scored. We all saw what we did to them witha bunch of kids last week, so think Bielsa would love to stick it to Moyes, but as you say they look big favs

I'd take a 0-0, boring as it would be.

That would be a great result but I doubt it would be boring.

Great to see Bammers,Rodrigo,Struijk coming back but I'd be very surprised to see any of them start especially the two forward lads as they will be massively ring rusty.
We just have to go there and try our hardest whoever is on the field we weren't massively overshadowed in the cup and even gave some good pressure at the end. I just don't see where our goals are coming from. It will be another tough afternoon but football is a funny old game.
I'm just worried that the Hammers will do a lot of play acting again, If they do. I'm sorry to say, we have to copy them. two wrongs don't make a right but sometimes you just have to follow the lead and play the same game.
    I'd take a point now.

It was nice to hear Bielsa politely call out Antonio for fouling defenders and getting away with it.

I feel that every game we have played against West Ham has been pretty close. I think they have edged all of the games but it's not like we can't compete against them. It's going to be tough, we'll need a little bit of luck and a strong referee but it is possible we can get a result. West Ham played midweek too. It might be a good time to play them.

Saying all that I still expect to lose the game. It just wouldn't surprise me if we pulled off a shock.

I’d fancy a shock win for us if it wasn’t London, we just can’t shake off how we find wins in the capital so hard to come by. Last game I posted we could play another 90 minutes and we still wouldn’t score. I can’t see us scoring tomorrow unless we do have a couple more players (Bamford included) back. If we play James as a loan striker we might as well have the day off and hand them three points

I heard a rumor that some would sell their arse for the win, However i understand Jammy has retracted that statement due to the high demand on Grindr<whistle> being tight arsed does have advantages i suppose
