    From the first whistle we were poor, I'd like to say we looked tired but they never gave up and really gave it a go 2nd half. We've made 3 basic errors that if schoolkids made you'd say it's not possible. Take it on the chins and move on.

    Bad day at the office imo. Too many players not on it. Lincoln came with a game plan and did their jobs. We move in.

    big thing there is still lots to play for.

    hopefully we can start looking at the transfer market now.

    keep the faith - said all along plenty of twists and turns to go yet.

    I can’t work out how it is so bad, looks like they have been hosting monster truck shows on it between matches.

    No. You are owned by the richest owners. There is a difference. We have still to see any signs of them splashing out big style. Then there is the little problem of getting talent to want to go to a club that is owned by pariahs and is at the relegation end of the premiership.

    And just to remind you of the level of football club Sunderland are currently competing against;

    NUFC 1 : CUFC 0

    I take it you've lost so many games this season that you've all just got used to losing.

    I don’t see how anyone can be defended tonight except maybe Stewart. 1st goal we stood still and watched. Twice. The keeper should’ve done better too. 2nd goal was awful from a number. Winchester should never have made the foul. Let him score. 0-2 11 v11 is better than 0-2 10v11. 3rd goal,imo, is all in Gooch. We’re pushing for an equaliser. Have everyone in the box and you try a shot Ronaldo would only do 1 in 10. Then you fail to foul the man who runs past you.
    There was so much wrong from minute 1. Prichard, Embleton, Neil, All poor

    Defence poor.

    Mind, as poor as Gooch can be, he always gives his all. Never stopped tonight. Didn’t have a good game but he never hid.

    That was all down to Jones. He got sacked in the summer so it’s all Bruce’s fault…

    What…Jones was there still?? That can’t be right? Thought he was a genius and the only reason England did do well at the Euros along with Newcastle finishing so well.

    He did, but he wasn't close to that this season. He had to go. Plus he was a bellend let's be honest.

    Was Eddie Howe anyone's first choice or even on anyone's wish lists? nah, not a chance but it is what it is. We'll see how he gets on the rest of this season. At least he has them in the training ground rather than sat on their couches at home. He will have had enough time to turn things around and won't have the excuse that Rafa had of coming in too late. If we go down its because we deserve to go. Been poor all year.

    For what it's worth. I reckon you lot will get promotion this year. You seem to have more consistency this year than previously. **** results are part of the game. As is Karma. Got mine on Saturday with the match day thread.
