Bit harsh on Flanagan imo I thought he made a couple of decent blocks at times. I didn't see anyone particularly at fault for their goals though so will have another look at them later and reassess my opinion.

She is good in Peaky Blinders, also in Happy Valley for a few episode's. Although no one beats the late Helen McCory in Peaky Blinders.

If his idea of “ pinning” the keeper is legal - and therefore an effective way of getting more goals from corners - maybe Mr Goodman could explain why he didn’t do it for every corner whilst playing for us

Their first goal took a deflection off him to deceive Patterson.

He missed headers all afternoon, and dived in in the box twice which could have led to goals, plus nearly gave a pen away.

He then missed a header which led to their equalising corner.

I don’t think Wright makes 90% of the mistakes Flanagan made yesterday.

    Watch it back.

Harsh on Flanagan mind. First goal is an unlucky deflection. Agree with the rest mind

Thing is, if wright was fit, he’d have been right back not instead of Flanagan. That’s how we’ve been playing for weeks and there’s no way he’d have dropped Flanagan either

Both both good depending what you like to watch.

I pay my TV licence and can say I have watched not much more than the following on the BBC in the last 8 years or so:

Peaky Blinders, Happy Valley, Line of Duty, This Country, Fleabag and Still Game.

All of which were on the backs of good reviews from others and watched in iplayer as opposed to putting bbc channel on.

Some of Pritchards passing was a joy to see yesterday. One of them he picks the ball up
Spins his man and plays a 40 yard pass through the defence. It is something we haven’t had as a club in so so long.

With an SKP we'd score one or two more goals every game.

Tried PB a few times and just can't get into it. Perhaps it's because I know Tom Hardy is in it and I find it difficult to watch anything with him in.

I like my Gangster stuff, he played Al Capone in his later years and I couldn't get into it because he went down the method acting routine and basically you couldn't understand a word he was saying.

Think Flanagan did alright tbh. Was the first of the defenders to actually get stuck in which we were crying out for. I think Doyle is class, but he wasn't aggressive enough yesterday. At least Flanagan stepped up and tried to guide him. He's also had an excellent season so far - in my opinion probably our most improved player.

I don't think the centre backs had too much support from the wide players, and on top of that playing in front of a goalkeeper who'd only just returned from loan.

I don't mind him, the only thing I couldn't watch with him in was Bronson. Too off the wall for me that.

I know what you mean about Tom Hardy, there's something off about him on screen, he's distracting in the wrong way. Mumbles like a bastard in most of his roles.

The only thing I've enjoyed him in is Taboo, not a show I'd go around recommending but it's not bad, better than I expected.

I couldn't get into Peaky Blinders either, on paper it should be my sort of thing but I just didn't like it.

You see to be the only person I know with this opinion. Spoken to lads who were there and a number who watched it on TV. Notfou d anyone who agrees with you!

All about opinions mind. But blaming him for the first goal in particular is simply unreal. Third goal I don’t blame him for either. But the deflection is just unlucky and nobody’s failt

It was a tough game for the defenders and I thought he did well generally.

He made numerous blocks and was simply unfortunate with the first goal imo.

One of their goals was a deflection, one should have disallowed for a foul. It was only their last goal from a corner (pity the headed clearance was not a throw in) that was poor defending.

The young goalie did well imho saved a couple of good shots from them.

    Its all about opinions.

IMO he was missing headers all afternoon, one which crucially lead to the corner we conceded the 3rd goal from.. If you watch that back it’s undeniable.

He’s very close to giving away a pen in the first half.

In the second half he dives in, completely missing the ball and the player in the box, leading to a massive chance.

This is just a few things off the top of my head. And it’s all available to see if you watch the game back, I can’t make it up.
