……only half time but a good lead to take to the revamped Shite Hart Lane. :1980_boogie_down:

Full time and an almost demolition of the Spuds.

I don't think it's any exaggeration to say we could and should have won 5-0 on the night.

The next goal in the tie will be key, as long as we don't concede in the first 10-15 mins (which we tend not to under Tuchel) I think we'll be fine. I can't see us going there and not scoring - it's very rare for us to not score v THFC.

In spite of this we have to be careful, it's a cup tie and they will not meekly surrender in front of their own fans given how poor they were in the 1st leg.

…….the second half of the tie at Shite Hart Lane might see the Spud defence score a few more goals for us. A very shakey defence considering the fact that Antonio Conte is their manager.

If we lose from here it's a choke for sure. Even against Morecambe they didn't look overly impressive. Seems like they are going through a similar patch to what we did in December. Losing Son is also a massive blow, for me he's their best player.

Audi will need to make his selections carefully for this one, as Spurs will be better than their last effort. Given the killer game against City to come, we won't want too many players backing up, with the injuries and covid problems we've had.
Having Werner back, and Saul showing a big step in in form can only be good. Malang Sarr and a couple of those academy kids might well get another chance. They all played well ,so not too worried by that.

Straight forward win against Spurs again. Dominant performance, but for last 15 mins first half and towards end of second we went to sleep a bit.
Have to say I think Malang Sarr looks good enough to stick with, he covered Kane like a blanket all game and was comfortable with all he did. Keppa also looks better and more confident. Mount still not at his best, but working hard and Lukaku looks a game short of top fitness. Good win, now on to the really tough game.

I thought we managed the game quite well. The referee was desperate to give them a pen but for once VAR helped us.

I fully expect Liverpool to beat Arsenal so it should be a good final. For now at least we can focus on the league games until we fly off to UAE for the CWC.

How bad are Spurs? Yikes. We didn’t even get out of first gear and they barely got near us, Kane still looks completely disinterested.

I thought Sarr had his best game for us, been a little unconvincing so far but was better tonight as was Kepa.

Mention for the referee who was an absolute embarrassment though. That penalty he gave against Kepa...shouldn’t be a referee if you can’t see that, it was so obvious he took the ball, didn’t even need a replay. Even worse they made him go and look at it, just tell him he’s wrong ffs. The first one wasn’t an awful lot better either.

Ref had a shocker, but as refs go, he's not Robinson Crusoe. Hard to find one with any consistency, they are all over the place with decisions. VAR mob are even worse, refs get very little assistance from them, just confusion and time wasting. Time a proper system to develop better on- field referees was started.
