Fk my life .. done, nearly done, not done, done shortly, I'm fkn overdone by this pedantry .. give it a fkn rest, just wait til its announced and then rejoice like every fkr else or alternatively lock ya selves in dark room.and rock in your chair .. Jesus h christ, its arguing for arguing sake !
It clearly wasn't 'done' - I'm not arguing the sale was complete, just agreed and contractually sealed pending legal and admin. Sources on both sides were saying 'it's done' though. They were obviously speaking 'in essence' though which is the point I'm seemingly badly trying to make. Doesn't render everything else prior to that being BS though. Enjoy your evening.
Baz / HDM keep saying "hugely complex". Anyone know why it's hugely complex? Allams have had 7 (?) years preparing and all the debt is to them, bar the EFL loan. Ok there's the SMC but surely it can't just be that making it hugely complex. Is the huge complexity having to deal with the Allams?
The smc has to be approved by the council They’ll want some sort of a backhander to approve it Just like the other time
It won't have helped it being conducted over international boundaries during a pandemic - but does anyone know how long takeovers usually take start to finish? Don't think ours has rumbled on a much as Newcastles did.
No, I'm saying the worry of postponement, covid, playing a lot lesser opposition, the game live on the BBC and having to travel, all reasons given for City fans being reluctant to buy tickets, didn't bother them. It is no surprise at all.
Is the forthcoming Stoke home game, also live but on SKY, a bigger platform then the BBC ? Let's see how much the crowd swells if that is the case, which tonight is looking 100% more likely then any announcement tomorrow. Which there won't be.
And more likely for a good result too? As they actually understand football they will also know the crowds will be bigger for a league game regardless. I was still hoping for tomorrow but you could well be right (and sound like you know a bit too)
