Deal 'done' is semantics though. Deal was done. Transaction completed wasn't, but the deal was past the point of no return.
That’s a great shout, he pretty much single handedly took Santa Clara into the top six of the Primera Liga.
Your mate Baz said the owners test was submitted a few days before Christmas why are you clinging to this one aspect of a much wider process. The key issue here was it was claimed to be done & it was no where near done. That’s not about timelines & definitions of done. That’s just BS
Baz’s wording is interesting… “Acun Ilicali set for Hull City arrival with new owner to attend Everton game” implies that he either is, or will be the owner by the time the game kicks off.
I think we were done a long time ago... Whether the deals 'gone through: or' gone through' that's another number of pages...
Turned out to be yes, but it wasn't incorrect to report that's what was being said at the time, and sources saying 'it's done' was probably in reference to the agreement of sale between the parties, then it got passed to legal and admin - and something unforseen in that process has delayed the announcement. Again, the idea that the ITKs are full of BS as has been the narrative of a few throughout, is just as wrong as the statement 6 weeks ago that were arguing about. Regardless. Should be irrelevant in a day or two.
I’ll be glad when this takeover is finally confirmed,as not only will it see the end of the Allams’ ownership but also the end of the pointless bickering by those questioning the few posters who have fed information over the last few weeks, often ahead of more traditional news sources… oh,and all those football twitter kids getting ridiculously impatient whenever City’s twitter account posts something that ISN’T the takeover announcement
FFS you still cannot accept it. It was not done. Not even to been done… 6 weeks later it’s still not DONE. I give up. Enjoy your evening
