It wasn’t done. It was never done. We now know that to be FACT! -The claims that the share ownership was done -The claim that deal was “totally” done -The claim that it had been submitted to the EFL -The claim that it had passed the ownership test -The claim that it was just just about organising the PR & press conference. “Getting the right people in the right place.” All off the above was BS. 6 weeks later….
I suspect that it passed a significant stage at that point - like going into that limbo period between you signing the contract on a house and mortgage where there's nothing else to do between the parties just wait for the solicitors, land registry etc and getting the keys.
Agreed. That and the fact that the new owner still hasn't been confirmed. I feel sure that if it could have been confirmed a week or so ago there would have been a much bigger demand for tickets.
Depends how you define 'done'. How many transfers do you see reported as ' done' but still take ages to be announced. Obviously the shares hadn't changed hands, but I'm not going to score points over folk sharing info in good faith - especially when they've proved to be correct on everything but the exact timescale.
That's. How I see it. Obvs those passing info on are only repeating what they've been told by those close to the deal. I have no doubt that folks close to both sides of the deal considered it 'essentially' done some weeks ago. After then it's down to legal and admin.
If it's not yet done why would Acun go on prime time TV in Turkey to imply that it was? If it all falls through he'll look pretty stupid. Having said that, with the Allams involved, I won't believe it until there's an official announcement.
FFS - stop twisting. Just accept the ITKs we’re wrong, I’m not saying it was deliberate lying. But it was clearly wrong on several aspects. That is not about definitions. That makes you look childish tbh, you’re better than that.
Could well be. However, these in turn, could be used by Allams for leverage and secure their demands. Acun has already told national TV he's bought the big HC. He's going to lose a lorra lorra face if, surprise surprise, it ****s up now.
