Apparently, Jan 5th is the date they're activating the 5G implants and the zombie apocalypse starts.

    Be careful folks.

Not sure about altogether but notwithstanding some other ****ty variant coming along I don't think things will get any more restrictive going forward. Feels like govt is saying they've done all they can, it's now up to us to behave 'appropriately'.

Probably be the last ‘restrictions’ we’ll see now after this winter...barring something extreme.

Everyone will get Omnicrom at some stage...it will find you.

    Get use to the idea.

Johnson suggests life will return to something 'much, much closer to normality' by end of month
This is what Boris Johnson said to Steve Baker a few minutes ago when he suggested the life would get back to something “much, much closer to normality” by the end of the month. (See 4.22pm.) Johnson said:

My plan is that is the one that we have in place. It is it is to get on with plan B ... it expires on 26th of this month. By then we hope to have greatly increased the already extraordinarily high number of people in this country who have not only been vaccinated but who have been boosted ....

All we need to do now is increase that number of boosted members of the population and then as Omicron blows through - and it is very much my hope and belief that it will - I do believe that we will be able to get back to something much closer to normality.

That doesn’t mean that there won’t be further challenges. But I think that life will return to something much, much closer to normality. It won’t be necessary to have the restrictions that we currently have in place. Business, investors will have all the confidence that they need.

Covid day two PCR tests scrapped for travellers arriving in UK

Ministers agreed on Wednesday that fully vaccinated travellers will instead only have to take a lateral flow test, which cost on average around £20 to £30 rather than the £80 for PCR swabs, as their day two tests. They will also no longer have to self-isolate until they get a negative result.

The Cabinet’s Covid Operations committee also backed plans, first revealed in the Telegraph, to scrap pre-departure tests currently required for travellers within 48 hours of their return to Britain.

The moves - which come into effect at 4am on Friday - will be a major boost for holidaymakers planning winter sun breaks and the beleaguered travel and tourism industry.

After being cleared by Tennis Australia that he met the criteria to play in the upcoming Aus. Open, Novak Djokovic has fallen foul of the Aus.Government rules of entry as he is not double vaccinated or in possession of a medical exemption document. His visa has been revoked.

He arrived in Aus. late on Wed night and is now confined in an immigration hotel awaiting deportation as directed by the Aus. PM.

    Great news about Djokovic.

I don’t mind if people do not want to be vaccinated it is their choice. But they have to live with the consequences.

The medical experts approved his medical status, it's the politicians rather than the experts that are driving this.
