Morning, people. Bit of housekeeping, if I may, re some Seven Barrows inmates I've been droning on (and on and on and on I'm sure some will add...) about of late. And its all good news from the handicapper. Broomfield Burg left unchanged, on 134, after his Kempton Park St Stephen's Day romp. Dame De Compagnie down 4 lbs following her Pertemps 6th (which qualified the old girl for the Final). She is now on 139 1 lb lower than the mark she won the '20 Coral Cup off! And Dickie Diver lowered 5 lbs, over hurdles, to 135. Highly bloomin' expolitable new mark in my opinion. I'm sure the forum's favourite trainer raised a glass / glasses (delete as appropriate) when learning of these perches.

All could win decent handicap hurdles off these marks in my opinion. Although with the latter they may equally be inclined to try him back over fences.

Very quiet today, but i'll have a bash!

15:25 Ffos Las - Red Lion Lad

(Very rare for me to go for a Pipe horse, as yard has never done a thing for me! However, this one has a squeak so I'll take the plunge. This Flemensfirth gelding probably needed the run FTO over fences at Uttoxeter 29-days ago. Distance and heavy ground should be no problem. Usual jockey Tom Scudamore rides for the David Pipe yard. 7/1 best price at time of writing, available in four or five places.)
