See my post on the Rangnick Theory thread.

I don't think we're finishing Top 4 which will cause its own problems.

    Roll on the summer.

The season is already done! Proceed with looking for a manager that will come in for next season. We have good time to do that now. And start the rebuild work from there.

Someone explain this ****e to me - you've got what you wanted, Ole is gone and in his place you have the doyen, the darling of googlepressing or whatever the **** it's caller, the meister of football and already its gone to ****. perhaps it wasn't he manager after all, perhaps there's a core of players in the dressing room who don't give a **** after all. Discuss - or not, I don't give a ****.

I still commend the board for thing outside the box. But they should have never left Ole in charge for that king. That was criminal! But I trust that they won’t make that mistake again. If a manager shows signs that they won’t cut it, move on to the next. Don’t waste time wishing. Rangnick’s setup has been criminal at best. It’s worse than LvG!

    I don't think so tbh.

This is one of the best squads in the league. We're just poorly recruiting managers.

Add to that a poor central midfield.

We're not just underperforming, we're playing WAY BELOW ourselves and what we're capable of. The players take some responsibility AS ALWAYS, but the fact we're playing THIS badly is down to team selection, players being played out of position, the team formation and the lack of quality in our general play.

Merry Christmas, Happy ****ing New year and where's the new manager? So far we've added a video analyst from Toronto and a mind coach from Kathmandu and a stop-gap manager from 1980 - our progress knows no bounds.

Let's not dig up the coffin, but how is any of this better than Ole. FFs he should have been left in charge until the end of the season, OK bring in King Ralf to do the job he's going to be doing behind the scenes, but this constant meddling with the squad/tactics/formations is total crap, where has it got us - absolutely ****ing nowhere.

It’s fully wrong management and system being played. There’s no need for philosophy class.

Playing six defensive players when playing at home against a defensive side, for example. Who is going to create the opportunities?

What you need to realise mate is it was never personal towards Ole. Rangnick will get the same support and criticism.

Just as much as Rangnick may be making mistakes, doesn't mean Ole was any better. It's never one or the other. It's about who can get the best out of the players. If it's not Rangnick then so be it. There's no winning or losing in the way I feel, just the fact I want the best for the club.

Got it, roger that, but if there is a longer term view by the board then why this knee-jerk reaction, why appoint KR. If I'm being honest, what I see is a reaction from the players to Ole being sacked and it won't end well.

Glazer’s logic is just so odd! Ole sucked as a manager but the answer is to just leave him there and continue to **** three goals per game. The next manager is not that great, so we fall back in previous logic they didn’t work.

How about taking the lessons forward and roll the dice again instead of thinking about retaining a very bad situation? How is that the solution to the problem?

GF, you need to let Ole, sir. He’s in a better place now in Norway with very nice snow.

I don't agree on the last bit. Personally I think Ole had lost the dressing room. On your first point, I was all for changing Ole, and all for giving Rangnick a chance to do something different for the 6 months he was in charge. But when you have 6 months, you have to make your mark quickly and show some of your DNA on the way the team sets up and the team plays.

He's not doing that. The problem is two fold - firstly if he was a permanent manager you could give it time but he's not so it's a pointless argument. And secondly, the problem is compounded by the fact his setup of the team, the lack of creativity, his team selection and the positions he plays them in is no better than the previous guy's.

So all in all, unless the bloke has a rethink and actually shows his class, it's a wasted opportunity by the Board and nothing more.

Someone please tell me by what metric is King Ralf an improvement on Ole. I see no measurable improvement in any area of the pitch, if anything the reverse is true. That being the case, what was the rationale in getting rid of the manager mid-season, why not accept that the PL season had gone (there might still be some cup success) but bring in King Ralf in the background and set him to work on the succession for the 2022/3 season.

Now the team are being asked to forget the OGS way, adapt to the KR way, all the time knowing he's got no authority beyond the end of the season - and then they have to adapt to another manager in pre-season.

Get over Ole, GF! It was a disaster! Onward and forwards!

New wife not cutting it is not an excuse to keep talking about the previous marriage that never worked. Besides, the new wifie is only really a gf.
