I was told a few times that I looked like an undercover cop trying to trap petty criminals

I was filling up in a garage one day and I was approached by a guy who said are you CID, no I said, are you sure he said, I am certain I said, he then said I have got some posh watches to sell are you interested, I showed him my Rolex Submariner and he walked off sulking

I have a Rolex, my Dad bought it for me in Paris for the equivalent of about £5 back in the late eighties.

Must say, I'm surprised they're so badly made, the gold has peeled away in places. I thought Rolex were supposed to be better than that. :bandit:

I had one of those from Turkey

As soon as I could afford a real one I bought mine, had it valued the other day when I had it cleaned and polished, it is now worth twice what I paid for it

Swans can be effing vicious. Although Britain's native swans aren't nearly as nasty as the Australian Black swans. There is a lake at the Uni I went to that had some and people were always getting attacked by the black swans. Never do any serious harm, but scare the crap out of you.

I bought a ‘Rolex’ off a bloke in a pub for £20 once, eventually left it at my mate’s gaff in Spain. When the battery ran down, he took it to the jewellers, who had to look twice to twig it was a snide…

Rolex Oyster Perpetual does, apparently. That's it, though.
