Well… we ****ed that one throwing away a 2 goal lead. Conceded a worldie tbrn just lost concentration.

On other hand chelsea dicked us in the second half while we then had couple chances on counter that should have put away.

2-2 was fair result… and it was a bloody good watch.

Watching city score 7 v Leeds yeah sure, but watching 2 good teams play fast attacking football. That’s why I pay money to watch. Great stuff

Jota for me. Sorry but either gave cheap foul or had the ball taken off him every time. Even his one chance was offside.

The rest were run about by the better side frankly. They dug in as best they could but it's all self inflicted.

I would say actually we are the sort of side klopp would love to line up against as we were taking extra touches under pressure, playing with back to play and worst of all playing it into active zones when pressed.

To be honest, I did not think we would hold on at half time. In retrospect, we were poor but got a point away against Chelsea. City will stroll the league now. We have no bench to talk of, Naby, Ox added nothing.

Yes, but I think we were second-best throughout anyway. Very sloppy passing until we were 2 up, and hesitant defending (though their first goal was one of those out-of-the-blue strikes that you can't see coming).
One of those rare games where we don't dominate.

I've changed my mind on Keita, he's a decent option. Ther main problem with him is his fitness/availability.

But yeah, the next month it's going to be a hard watch...

We were lucky to be 2-0 up to start with, frustrating that we let that lead go but Chelsea were the better side today imo

I'd usually say a point away to Chelsea is a good result but nowadays you have to win when aiming for 100pts :(

Shutting up had zero effect lol

    lot of negativity on here

Still a way to go - league unlikely - but imho - it always was this season - our depth is not great and AFCON was always going to be an issue.

    City’s depth is huge
Chelsea demonstrated today their depth is strong
Utd are too but they have had a poor first half of season

we may still get lucky if city get complacent but personally I just can’t see it and Chelsea, Spurs, Utd and even Arsenal will probably be around too

the year we won it is how you do it (obviously) where every time city slip up you take advantage - that has not happened so they are likely to just walk away with it

Chelsea have surprised me by falling by the way side in past few weeks

but IF Chelsea beat city (and strangely today will help them believe they can - if we had won today Chelsea probably fold for a bit) and IF we can cope through Jan, a win at Etihad brings it back to 2 points. Will just have to wait and see

personally I am happy we did not get beat today

Two weeks ago we were 1 point behind City. Now we're 11 points behind. That just goes to show how poor our depth is, but after every window people claim how it's strengthened. No, it hasn't. The defence and the midfield are all over the place. It doesn't help that the officials give City every decision, nor does it help that it's been our complacency at times that's partly got us into this mess.

It doesn't matter who you're playing, you just don't give up a 2 goal lead and let them back in it. It's happened way, way too often this season against opposition we should have soundly beaten. Take the match against Leicester when we wasted chance after chance after chance. It was ****ing shambolic. I know we've got players off with Covid but when at full strength we've been naff at times.

I can't see City slipping and I can't see us beating them at the Emptyhad, either. Sorry. I'm happy we weren't beaten, too, but we should have ****ing defended better and we didn't

Draw was a fair result. We should have been better on the break, but Chelsea should have been better upfront. Thought Kelleher did well overall. TAA was poor except for his assist. Milner was never in the game. I would have taken a draw before kick off, and it was an exciting game to watch.
