Roberts was good today but was a bit wasteful and should’ve scored, pressing was brilliant and came and received the ball well to give us space. Raphinha has been wasteful and lazy today. So many times he should’ve passed and then has no options. We need another GK because I agree about Meslier, positioning not great and very poor distribution. Meslier has also saved us a few times though but needs some healthy competition.
Never a free kick for the goal as Cornet was holding onto Llorente. Let’s see how Gelhardt does, think he’ll be a good player, like how he dribbles and his finishing but I don’t think he presses as well as Bamford, Roberts or James up front.
