I know we weren’t particularly good but Watford deserved nothing out of that for the most negative football I’ve seen for ages. At least we were trying to attack, we just weren’t very good at it.
**** Watford though, for as bad as we were, teams that just sit back for 90 (in this case 101) minutes with no desire to win a game can **** right back off to the Championship.

Got away with it a bit there. Felt like a Nuno game, we started a bit meh and then got worse. No early subs and very little done to try and change things until late. They struggled with our midfield runners all game but no one managed to do anything with it. I guess you give the motm to Hugo for dealing with a couple of difficult situations but I don't think anyone else was above a 5 today.
Watford are my home team and I could not be happier to beat them their fans are up there with Stoke and Leicester

Can't remember us doing that for years...continuing to attack and not giving up. Don't recall it since we beat Douthampton in the cup replay back in 2020. But that was reminiscent of the Pochettino teams of 2015-18 where we regularly won games late on.

Watching Watford today, I definitely think that Newcastle will survive. As for us further proof for Conte that we need reinforcements, particularly in creative positions.
Was trying to work out which ex Forest player he was (once he mentioned John Robertson re the Emerson crossing) . Thought he was very honest on the Spurs attack (told it straight - not the snide stuff you get from the usual suspects) .
One thing I do worry about is some players look burned out already, with Son the most obvious example and he has been for a few weeks Given how brutal our fixtures are in January, we're going to need fresh legs one way or another
