Well, the announcement on Turkish TV seems to be what we have been waiting for, even though it still needs to be signed off by EFL, I can't imagine someone like Acun announcing this if he is not 100% sure it's going through. He certainly knows how to maximise the publicity opportunities, obviously waiting for a bumper audience to make it known. As I said in the beginning, there is a great opportunity and incentive for him to get us back to the EPL, and with a few Turkish players in the side, the audience in Turkey is potentially likely to be huge. He obviously has a plan, let's hope he can pull it off and be a success. Thankfully we have someone who knows football and is wedded to it.
I think Acun will be well aware of the heritage he's spent 20+ million buying into. It's why he bought us but also an opportunity to make history... Just wish him and the new regime success. Hope the faithful can get onboard with the new international outlook. Shouldnt be too hard for a Port City, but there'll be detractors, no doubt..

And sometimes when everyone is sitting there in the church all dressed up and ready to celebrate, one of the couple don't show up. Call me all the names you want or say I am being negative but I am not celebrating till it's done. As a reminder because it looks like some don't read my posts, one time the Allams (the ones actually selling the club) were so sure that a deal would be done that they wrote their fond farewells in the program. That deal fell through.

My read (subjective) is that SW3 Chelsea Tiger is pointing out some of the ITK information may have been presented as fact when it appears, on the evidence in the public domain at least, that it was not. Again, what somebody considers to be a “done deal” is subjective (apparently). All ITK posts were, in my opinion, provided in good faith and I was / am grateful for those updates as all I knew (from my Turkish barber) was that Acun was very popular, had a private jet and knew lots of people - none of which I deemed “ITK” worthy. I’d rather focus on the new ownership and where we may now go as a club. HNY! MoH
