Is the tiger balm any good... I have gout/arthritis and find cold on my feet before bed helps me sleep through the night!
I remember always applying linament before playing during the winter, I once went for a piss after applying it and just before we went out onto the pitch. It burned like hell, I was in agony but got around the pitch better than I ever did before
I use red tiger balm on my knees mate. Warms them up and seems to ease the soreness a bit in the day. Beware it does stain sheets and clothes! I soak my feet in epsom salts a couple of times a week. I am also on turmeric capsules and that is a good anti-inflammatory.
Bumped into George Forster who used to run the Supporters club buses back in the 70's/80's when I was a kid. He is in his 90's and still independent. I asked him the secret and he said he has took cod liver oil every day since he was a kid. A living endorsement for it if ever there was one.
...and keeps your arteries supple, thereby preventing hardening of the arteries. Also, in a study by Harvard Medical School, concentration levels and general behaviour of 47% of kids with ADHD improved significantly taking Omegas 3,6 and 9.
I take cod liver oil everyday and also glucosamine and my knee joints are better now than they were 20 years ago.
Just seen this on facebook @BangorWalesNews Nathan Broadhead Injury Update: Following scans and assessment, surgery is *not* required, he is likely to be out for around 10 weeks #SAFC #EFC #Sunderland #Everton
Still looking at around 3 months for him to be back playing i reckon but glad that his season won't be over
We have a 6 game run in in April. Be a good lad to come back in for what might be the final push. Also our last game in March is home to Rotherham, he might just be ready to come off the bench in that one and make the difference...
Onien and Mcgeady are also due back then aswell. I have a feeling Onien will be ahead of schedule though because he's a machine

Hi mate, sorry I didn’t get back sooner, I was told that the olive oil was good for your heart and blood and glucosamine is for rebuilding cartilage in your joints. It certainly seems to have worked for me but might be a load of bollocks check it out on google
