Was the play off final also a tough way to lose Stroller? I get what you say but no one’s cares if we are unlucky. Seen it many times over the years where we dominate and the other team scores in injury time. That’s football.
TBH if we went up by a point this year would anyone care about the Bristol game?

It is a bit of a worry for Sunday:
Will Charlie, Albert and Lee be able to play after their efforts, yesterday?
Is Deck going to be fit?
Only five on the bench yesterday. How many on Sunday?
    Hoopy New Year, btw!

Wasn’t one of our better performances for sure but the business was done at their end to take the points, do I feel for them no ****ing way & it’s tough ****, when they beat us at our place I came out of ground shell shocked at the smash & grab they had just done & couldn’t believe it, so let them & Pearson cry over it!

I would be very disappointed and sad had we lost in this manner. In fact we did, and I was, in the corresponding fixture at home.

I have empathy for the Bristol City fans as they will feel it was an unfair and undeserved result, and they were most probably gutted at the final whistle.

But it did not stop me from celebrating the win and enjoying it.

Such is football. We suffer in the lows and we need to enjoy the highs, even if rather lucky.

Enjoy the moment and don’t worry about it.

    Have a great New Year!

Yes, I think people have misunderstood a little. Of course I'm very happy we won, but I feel a bit sorry for the other lot due to the nature of the win. We all know what it's like to be on the receiving end in games like that. That's all.

    Happy New Year, Ski.

I remember Yeovil outplaying us at home, we won they got relegated, us beating Gillingham with the perfect volley(ball) smash and they got relegated.
I have got over these incidents

It wasn't even close to the robbery they got away with at our place.

I stay off the matchday thread during the game itself and more often than not can then enjoy in glorious technicolour that wall of despair tinged with anger on the rollercoaster of the match day thread. It is amazing that for such a mature fanbase so many can veer from Mr Hyde to Dr Jekyll in the space of a few minutes

Take care and remember that football and the R's are only a sport.

Let's hope that we will have joy and much to celebrate in the New Year 2022!

And he has every right to say that as the ref must have had a QPR shirt on under his black top-completely not fit for purpose.
How blatant does a penalty have to be -not to mention all the other wrong decisions he made.

Mate, we have had more poor officials and bad decisions than any of us can remember.
    We were due some luck.
You lot committed daylight robbery at our place earlier in the season.
Your own fault being reduced to 10 men by an idiotic decision by King.

The ref was awful for you guys, but it makes a real change to have a ref actually give 50:50 decisions our way for once - I'm sure you get the rub of the green on occasion too. The overall standard of refereeing this season has been appalling

Not sure it was a penalty, Dickie got the ball, unlike the rugby tackle on Amos at the other end 6ECFE418-996D-4354-BD35-D1DD8D77AC1B.jpeg

We had another bad ref against Huddersfield last home game-they need to get back in the classroom absolutely shocking performances.
