Now and again a comedy genius comes along, we'll have a long wait for the likes of Spike to come along again, if ever.
I've watched it lots of times, and know exactly what is coming but still guffaw. Much like Billy Connolly's incontinence pants. joke.
Assuming it goes ahead tomorrow, it will be very interesting to see who's fit to play and who isn't? I assume Josh Hinds will be on the bench, if he is in the starting lineup, then we really are struggling to put a team out.
Anyone know much about Josh Hinds? What is his record like for U23’s and loan spells? Do we think he has enough in him to be pushing for a first team place? (when we have a full squad that is)
I remember watching our first million pound player away at Bloomfield Road it didn't end well for him he was knocked unconscious and we lost 2-1 to a goal scored by our former centre forward ten minutes or so into extra time, we didn't get home until 2-30am and I had my 6 year old lad with me it didn't go down well with the wife as he had school a few hours later, great night though
I've seen him a couple of times and he shows a lot of promise. Big lad, strong and pacey with a trick or two. He scored four away at Coventry for the Under 23's before he was loaned out to Spalding, which I thought was an odd loan as I thought he would have progressed more at a club like Scunny or Grimsby. Looks like he's going to get some first team action at Bloomfield Road so it's a big chance for him. He has more of a future at the club then three of the current forwards we have all of whom are regulars in the first team squad, KLP excluded.
If you plough through the under-23's thread he appears in one or two of the goal videos. From the little there is I thought he looked handy. As UP said earlier, big and strong with a turn of pace in him.
Nice! That’s really good to hear. Really hope he gets at chance tomorrow. On the form of Wills and Magennis, he should at least get an opportunity.
I was there for that. I think it was a League Cup match. We were in a temporary stand at the side of the pitch. It was Caleb Folan's first game for us, I think. He was far too fast and clever for the Blackpool defence so they just flattened him at every opportunity.
