Oh and that header from KWP was match saving. Super piece of defending that. And he was rewarded with a piledriver to the face. Ouch!
As fans we right off players too easily. I for one have criticised Shane, Frazier and Yan. All have come back to make me realise I know nothing.
Well blow me, my team got give some bollocks for Christmas. Well played team. JWP awesome, special mention for A Armstrong who did a great job on left mid. Frazer awesome (bar the one fumble). I think we should try and get Frazer to join. He is a better keeper than McCarthy
Surprised Adam Armstrong hasn't had a mention, he had to pretty much play left wing back for the second half and got stuck in.
Think it only saved us a goal kick but thats besides the point. We need players fully committed and ready to put their body on the line for a point, and he absolutely did that. Close 2nd MOTM behind JWP
Ralph’s interview suggests Tino will also be out of the Newcastle match I wonder what we will do there .
It was great seeing him do that but I was cacking myself at being down to 9 players to defend the throw in. Spurs shot themselves in the foot by passing the ball across the field, allowing KWP to be waved back on by the ref.
Valery RB and Perraud LB I imagine, can’t see many other options, unless Simeu or Small are brought in.
Tough game for RTM there as it had to not only cope with an on-form Spurs team, but also had to repel the Tom Curse. Incredible, battling point there. So proud. Thought Valery and Diallo were outstanding and deserve special mention, and Fraser "the sweeper" Forster was great (though kicking it out about ten times in a row on the right got a bit tiresome!) Was almost gutted when Tottenham Taylor blew the final whistle as there was a 100% break on for us. Still, what a point. Feels like a win.
Neither are right backs. Just wondered if there is perhaps another option such as with a back three and someone else being wing back But that is the obvious choice
Great team performance! My MOM was Walker-Peters. Many wonderful oscar-winning performances from many Spurs players (ref was terrible - fell for their theatrics every time); but the ref so bad he disallowed a perfectly executed own goal by FF?? We deserved something for that performance and especially because of the enforced changes.
