As I said in a previous thread Stewart and Broadhead should never have been risked v Arsenal. Feckin ridiculous decision.
Big blow, he has been very good recently. Not irreplacable though and at least we can act quickly to replace. Ideally we will sign someone who has been playing first team footy regularly and can come straight in.
Ridiculous comment. It wasn't an impact injury and he's got previous for his hamstring. It would have probably happened in training or the next match, anyway.
People probably would have complained and questioned why Broadhead wasn't starting v Arsenal, if he wasn't named. Swings and roundabouts. Next month will be interesting now in the market, can't say I've even seen a name linked yet with us.
It's a huge blow but the only sensible thing for us to do now is terminate his loan and look to sign another player of similar calibre. Big transfer window ahead (When is it not?)
Maybe put a deal together to sign him permanently, then look at someone to cover for him would be my shout.
