I have listened to the Broadcast in full. It certainly doesn’t say awaiting EFL fit and proper persons test. The EFL have to approve the final deal agreed by both parties is what it probably implies!

 

i never mentioned “fit & proper”, I just said the deal is held up by the League as per Ehabs quote.

He clearly says (still) 'to conclude the deal' and then also adds about EFL approval.
So, IF we were to believe him, then a) the deal isn't done, nor b) EFL approval given.
And he's only 'fairly confident'.
WTF. After all this time.
Sounds like there's still scope for them to **** even this opportunity up.
