a bit of common sense is maybe starting to evolve....the high court recently turned down an appeal by christie elan-cane regarding gender neutral passports the campaigner said the governments passport application process was against human rights and wants the right to have non-binary x passports.....how you live your life is up to you but don't impose your choice onto others who still fervently believe the scientific fact there are two genders and no more....there are a small number of these people overall in the grand scheme of things but they sure get a lot of attention and make a lot of noise....how ?
your passport has your sex on it not your gender, male/female an immutable fact...if he/she wants to identify as something else that is their choice in today's clown world but what that has to do with what's marked on your passport christ knows.........planet x calling ground control
Now you've raised this topic it has got me wondering why there is a classification of sex on a passport at all. I mean I've done quite a lot of travelling and I have never been asked by any passport control/ immigration officer to prove that I am what I say I am. Has anybody ever had to do this? I suspect it isn't needed, especially with the introduction of biometric passports.
Only a complete guess… Maybe when you’re suspected of drug smuggling it is used in ensuring you get the correct male/female officer performing a strip search
Perhaps, a low percentage of people are drug smugglers but a fair point and one that I'm sure would be discussed if the situation arose.
Don't know about why you aren't asked to prove what it states on your passport maybe that point should be asked at passport head office !
Ok. I can’t say it would make any difference to my life whatsoever but if it’s a big deal to you then good for you.
He's obviously so unsure about himself that he has to have a document to prove what he is, personally I couldn't care less.
Is it Bank Of England that has to pay for Scotland and Wales deciding to introduce more restrictions? (asking for a friend)
A Passport is also a form of ID so changing the format could affect other areas. I guess if it was worthwhile then it could be justified but how many flakes would actually NEED to use another option. If you change gender you can update your Passport so it's only to placate a tiny amount of protesters. Given the way our schools are brainwashing the kids I'm sure it will happen. I'm old enough I won't care when it does.
