Some Polish blokes I work with ate Carp back home for Christmas dinner, difficult to get here unless you catch it yourself

 

Few years back was speaking to a guy who was a bailiff at a series of ponds, apparently lots of the Eastern European community were fishing his ponds and knocking the carp on the head to take home and eat later. Apparently is accepted in their own countries and were somewhat puzzled we operate catch and release here
