Wasn’t impressed in the new matrix film, waffle, ****ing waffle…. I’m thinking it’s the start of a trilogy so they’re setting up the story but was still a bit crap….
I'm now up to episode ten of the first series of Bordertown and it really is very good. I came across the film Bordertown: The Mural Murders and then went on to watch the series, so I've sort of watched them in the wrong order (I think), but I don't think it really matters. There's thirty one episodes of the series, so it's going to keep me occupied for a while, but I'd definitely recommend it.
If you have access to Disney+, I highly recommend Hawkeye. 6 episodes, much better than most of the recent Marvel offerings. Also, The Wheel of Time on Amazon. Doesn't quite live up to my expectations from reading the books but enjoyable nonetheless.
If you're stuck for something to watch tonight, Rita, Sue and Bob Too is on Talking Pictures TV at 9pm.
Watching The Method on Netflix. A bit weird and implausible but interesting to see modern day Russia has as many head cases as the USA.
Careful, Toast's back and he's on fire! please log in to view this image Watch Toast of Tinseltown on iPlayer from 4 Jan at 10pm now this is funny fact
Just watched a superb documentary on drumming called "Count Me In". Some brilliant drummers from down the years and different genres. On Netflix.
Just started watching Jaguar, a drama about a group chasing after nazi's in Spain. First episode of six in and looks very promising.
Have to totally agree , he was at his funniest from episode 1 through to 10 .The supporting cast we’re all excellent I am not keen on Tracy Ullman but she was great in this.I wonder if we will see another series?.
Yup I’ve mentioned Bordertown before having watched about the first six episodes. I tend to stop on series and have to restart later. Funnily enough I was going to do just that yesterday with it but stopped on The Fall and decided to give Gillian Anderson a chance. Glad I did as it’s a decent watch, did series one yesterday. She obviously likes nippy weather as well. So back to Bordertown after that’s finished it is.
Don’t look up is pretty good Very obvious analogies and satire, but quite well done. I enjoyed it anyway
