When you buy a house, there's a point when it is 'sold' subject to contract. You can never be 100% until you have the keys in your mitts on moving day, but up to that point, you'd still be able to say it's done....sort of.
Often in company sales, the time scale slips and adjustments have to be made. I had this recently when the sale could not be completed through no fault of either party, because some papers were held up by a lease company. The date was agreed but shifted by a complete month and the dates on the terms and conditions of sale had to be amended. This meant fresh witnessed signatures by all concerned. It happens.

Right Actually ITK again, genuinely Acun and Tan are still trying to complete today, or ASAP. Maybe we should be making the point direct to the EFL that they need to not slow that process down?
Being a City supporter you experience the vicissitudes of life so I will wait patiently , adopting my stoic outlook on life. there are things you cannot control., and when we are finally sold we look to the future forgetting the past.
