    So it's that time of the year again. Christmas may be a bit smaller for many of us with restricted family gatherings but for our vitual family on here everything is still the same. A merry Christmas to everyone on here and to any stray visitors and a New Year when we finally kick covid into touch where it belongs.

    "Gayaay Gaangangindaay" - in Gamilaraay, or "Gadhaang Gurwaldhaany dhurinya yiradhu" in Wiradjuri - just two of the 270 Indigenous languages of Australia. Both roughly translate as "Happy Saviour Born Day"

    And, to please cologne, "Nollaig Chridheil a h-uile duine agus Bliadhna mhath ùr agus fallain" in Scots Gaelic.

    I have been missing our football and our chat during matches so let's hope the new year sees the return of that. I am not sure I will be joining you for the Wet Spam match as I am watching it with a friend who supports them as he does not have Amazon Prime. I will be there in spirit.
