There's an aspect of the deal that Assem wasn't happy with, that's how I knew the talk of the deal already being completed was premature. It wouldn't be appropriate to post details on here, as it relates to the financial arrangements, but it's nothing to worry about and hopefully will be resolved shortly.
Looks like me, kempton and Dennis were right again. (and one or two others) Ah well another Christmas in the cave.
Thanks OLM. I hope you are right. But on the other hand .... well, who would have that eh?!! And if it's nothing to worry about, why is it taking another flight over here to sort it out? Hmmn. Let's hope the 'resolved shortly' doesn't mean by Acun walking away having had enough of trying to get an agreement with the Allams.
Is it that all Ehabs toys are on the company books and once the sale is complete he will be left without wheels?
Thanks for this, if you were a betting man, what would be the odds of concluding today/before end of Dec?
That's worrying. They are in short supply and it takes 3 or so years to do decent apprenticeships if new ones are needed. (Oh come on, someone had to say it).
So the claims from from the ITKs that the deal was fully done just waiting for the announcement from 3 or 4 weeks ago, where either misinformed or BS then……
Given even the potential new owner can't put a date on it, I don't think that's particularly fair. I've been critical of a lack of information being shared from certain quarters in the past, so I think we should cut some slack to those trying to share what they know. We just have to accept that things can and do change. It doesn't automatically make the initial information wrong.
I think they were right about all the terms having been agreed then, there's just other things to sort before that share transfer can actually take place.
I bet it’s something pedantic like Acun “ we’ll split the payments into 4 “ Assam “ no we want it paid every Wednesday afternoon at 15:47 “
claiming the deal is 100% done & just waiting for it to be announced - things like that do not change…..
Surely it does in this case it does though? For a deal to be done and complete , it needs to be signed and sealed , money transferred , keys handed over , etc . It may be 99% done, but that’s not what was said .
I can see what you mean, but I doubt those saying that were making anything up. We'd moan like hell if people didn't share what they know, but we just have to be realistic, especially given even those directly involved are reluctant to put a date on it, but adamant it's a done deal.
