So we’ve signed young Nicky Gyimah from posh to go into the u23s and some plebs on Twitter seem desperate to use it as a negative about “not signing anyone for the first team”. We have some imbeciles supporting our club!!
Some right bellends on Twitter. He sounds like a good signing to me, only 18. Some people will moan at anything.
What an utter tit. We can’t sign anyone until Jan 1st. Some of our fans aren’t happy unless they are moaning about something.
I thought we did a bit of both in the summer. I thought we were signing players for u23s to try and have some players that might make the first team in the future after the last lot sold anyone with promise.
Iirc it was the back-end of the window in the summer we signed 1st team players, there was a load of idiots wetting their knickers about it then...
It seems that some people aren't happy unless they're slagging the club off about something! And they call themselves supporters
Thanks for showing yourself up Gary, every club has them but do they really have to use social media to let everyone know they're utter bellends.
Don't know about this young lad of course, but good luck to him. As for twitrerbook bollocks, normal people take no notice of such rubbish.
i never bothered with tw@tter, i keep seeing such posts and know i made the right choice...it is a massive media platform for WUM's and they can be anonymous, a perfect mix for feckwits!!
I love our fans. Absolutely class. But there are some things which really take the piss. Signing this young lad is a massive positive. Even if he's **** and never makes it to the first team, it's nothing lost. We need numbers in the u23s anyway; these fans are the same ones who will twist when the youths get battered because there's not enough in the squad. The other thing which really pisses me off, even more so than this though, is the impatience when a player is coming back from injury. Hume was out for months - gets rinsed by a £80m player when he comes back = ****e Bailey Wright out for months, comes back and is rusty = ****e Watford was the prime example. Out for years, comes back and doesn't immediately set the world on fire = ****e Give these lads some time FFS. If they don't get game time they won't get up to speed. Xhemalijijijiiiixixi will be torn apart online by fans if he's not looking top drawer straight away. Luckily most of our fans are brilliant though and make up for the rest of the idiots
i don't think i can prefer this over anything i have never used to be honest...i may be surprised if i decided to give tw@tter a try but i also do not feel i need multiple platforms to constantly try to keep up to date with.
The main reason we need to sign players for our u23s is because of the way it's been mismanaged for years under Short and then decimated by Donald, thats why they needed about 10 or so players in at the start of this season. If the likes of Benj, Diamond and few others like Bainbridge, Richardson etc had been looked after and loaned out for experience over the last few years they may have been ready for the first team or worth something in terms of a transfer fee. Hopefully it's not too late for Diamond and players like this new lad can have an impact on the first team.
Agree, Twitter was once described as the best place to go for current upto date info. Unfortunately that attracted, as you mentioned, the feckwits.
