Ffs Sky's cricket commentary gonna be as dull and boring as BT's now ! Without doubt the funniest ****er who's ever been a sports commentator. He's gonna be sorely missed, end of an era with Gower and Botham leaving too !
I should say along with the late Sid Waddell, some seriously great lines the pair of them came out with
Well done David Lloyd, always gave a good account of himself, whether that be playing or commentating. Probably got pushed out and replaced with a young upstart to cater for the Bleeding Heart Society. A good innings, Sire!
Makes no difference. They could get Joe Mangel to open the bowling and he'd still get Burns out with his fifth delivery.
MCGs groundsman tells us that it will be a green pitch which will help the seamers. Of course he could be fibbing, but the Adelaide groundsman told us the wicket would turn and to pick a spinner. So we didn’t. Watch England pick Leach, win the toss and bat first.
Problem is, even if the wicket is turning sideways, Leach won't be able to get it to! I'd use Root and Malan as spinners as we really don't have a proper one.
Hope it’s a bowlers wicket. A green wicket will add some spice to the game. It will make both teams to display their best batting performances. I would not listen to the grounds man…… the wickets of today tend to always favour the batsmen. Hope l’m wrong.
All I can predict is that Warner and Labuchagne will have their outside edges both beaten at least 50 times between them and both go on and score centuries !
With the third Ashes cricket test kicking off today, thought it would be only right to acknowledge former English captain, Ray Illingworth. A captain.... please log in to view this image A batsman.... please log in to view this image & a bowler .... please log in to view this image
Aussies win toss, stick us in with overcast conditions Going to bed as it'll probably be 23-3 after 10 overs.......
Prick Root, calls tails in first test and wins toss. Calls heads next 2 and loses them both, blokes a muppet ! Wicket greener than the Gabba ffs, marvelous
Really? Making the wrong choice after winning the toss is worthy of criticism, but calling the spin wrong isn't.
