    Which conspiracy theory is this?

So let’s get this straight. You believe DPP stating that the Moderna Vaccine stating that heart issues are a confirmed adverse effect, somehow backs up Halfbreeds statement that there is no evidence to link vaccines to heart issues? You do realise all I stated to set that off is that heart related issues are a confirmed side effect which he disputed. You’re now being beyond stupid.

I will break it down in bullet points so it’s easier for you.

    - I state the elephant in the room no one wants to discuss is vaccines in relation to collapses. I state that heart issues are a confirmed side effect. Therefore it would be sensible to look into whether there os any link.
    - Halfbreed takes offence to this thinking it’s misinformation and states there is no evidence to suggest heart issues. Spouts the usual conspiracy theory, anti vax bollocks all of you types resort to.
    - DPP posts to state that his vaccine leaflet confirms heart related issues are a confirmed side effect. Thus proving what I stated was indeed correct.

Aye I feel really daft mate. Face it you were too quick to chuck all your eggs in the wrong basket

You will get your head out the sand eventually you old ostrich. By the way another fan collapsed outside the ground on Saturday requiring CPR after a heart related issue. Mounting up aren’t they?

You’re a lost cause Pouchy. Best not to look at all of the posts or what is being said. Keep twisting and keep making it up. Your elephant isn’t my elephant. I’m sure you’ll convince me one plus one equals three. It’s interesting if nothing else.

<laugh> It’s hard when it’s laid out in a format you can’t dispute isn’t it. That was the train of events. It’s why I respect DPP. Honest. Might not agree with me, might not agree with people not being vaccinated, might not think vaccines are causing the collapse, but still honest enough to accept that a statement I made disputed by you/half breed was 100% correct. Now bask in my righteousness

If it helps I can prove that 1 + 1 = 3 using the fact that 0 = 1 if that helps in any way?

<laugh> I’m very much enjoying his current wriggle. Fair play though he has steadfastly refused to accept I was correct, even in the face of cold hard facts, he’s just doubling and tripling down.

It’s true what they say about old folk being stubborn.

Except you’re talking about your elephant and I’m talking about my elephant. Now if you look at what I am saying and not what you are saying or Geordie H or Dazza or Chippy’s dogs uncles mother you will realise I’m actually correct.

It’s really easy if you don’t presume. Honest.

Heart issues caused by vaccines > Denial heart issues caused by vaccines > vaccine maker confirms heart issues caused by vaccines

It’s really simple. You will get there eventually.

    Correction.

    1. Cans says denial of heart issues in 3 named footballers caused by vaccines refuted by scientists. Link in post. No evidence to back up such a claim.

    2. BHF advice to take vaccine. Quote in post. Further link for info.

Research has showed that having previously had a coronavirus infection is much more likely than the Covid-19 vaccine to lead to heart problems – although these cardiac arrests may not be linked to coronavirus infection either.”l

    3. Elephant in the room. Pouchy’s attempt to sound neutral but failing abysmally. :)

It’s a tough pill to swallow I know. Try some water.

Ah we are back to your neutrality assumption too - it’s helpful of you to show who is struggling to not be influenced by pre existing assumptions. Nicely frames your whole approach to the debate

I had Moderna and I read the heart related stuff. It’s relevant to me as I have serious asthma and a whole in my heart. So it did concern me. So I wanted to test things as I do regular blood pressure tests daily. I know it’s not conclusive but just for laughs and giggles.

I six readings twice a day on day one two and three. The readings went up by 10% and dropped back down on day 4. And when you think logically that’s sensible right? Because any infection or body reaction to something not normal would increase your heart pressure and other things too.

Now factor in that a lot of us older people have done significantly less exercise over the last 2 years. And not exactly ate as well either.

Factor all these things in and you have a generation of 40-60 year olds who are being vaccinated with things never done before, less healthy and probably more over weight.

So for the average Joe on the street it does make sense to me that there is a link with covid, vaccines and heart problems. It’s just not directly linked.

As for the elite athletes. I’d argue the same principle applies but at the opposite end of the spectrum. They are super fit to the point of the brink. So if you put added strain on the body with the vaccines then it’s plausible that it could lead to a certain %age of increased problems.

Aye I must admit I'd be reluctant to get too hard and fast about any links, especially with regard to vaccines. As I say hopefully the boffins are doing their work behind the scenes. I'm sure they are, the clubs alone are sitting on millions of pounds worth of assets, that alone with probably ensure its looked into to establish any reasons. I was simply saying it would be good to look into that, plus previous COVID infections, our general levels of fitness - these are things which have been impacted in the last however many months. Some of those collapsing haven't had COVID or a vaccine, some had one or the other or both. We don't have all the medical information relating to these things, so its dangerous to draw too many conclusions from an uninformed point of view.

I recognise though that vaccines are a divisive issue at present. So people get a bit tetchy if its dared to be suggested there could be side effects or perhaps their belief on effectiveness is wrong. Its human nature when so many of us have been injected with them. Nobody wants to hear anything negative when they've been convinced they are safe. Their safe and an individuals safe are two different things too. Natural reaction is that its anti vaxxers, or scaremongering (because we keep getting told it is), so you get people making assumptions on why its raised and reading into things that just aren't there.

We live in a unique and very strange time, which is having an effect on how people behave and interact. People have been absolutely pummeled by the media sources - often with scaremongering and misinformation ironically. My mother and granny are still duped into thinking the BBC is a reliable news source because when they were growing up, it was seen as a bastion of impartiality. Then they wonder why they're both riddled with anxiety over COVID!!! My mother admitted since she stopped watching things have calmed for her. Is that their fault? I don't think it is, they should be able to trust news sources. I think a lot of people have woken up to that now though if they weren't already aware. Personally I've not taken the news at face value for many many years. Its just so obviously bias and controlled. Actually there is another thing I don't know enough about. Does increased anxiety put strain on the heart??

Its a very complex subject and situation to unpick.
