Leaving her post at long last. No doubt tempted away to a more lucrative post to continue fulfilling the" Hate Britain....its' people, its' history, its' culture and its' tradition" agenda as being propogated by the BBC ,using the money from the licence payers it seeks to denegrate, of which she has been such a willing participant. Good riddance!
Never liked her and her attitude towards those she was interviewing, no big miss for me. Unfortunately the real problem lies within the BBC and it's ultra left wing agenda which has been going on for far too many years.
Think its more of a levelling down agenda than anything, and its not just the BBC, caving in to constantly to lobbyists of all colours and creeds.
Everyone claims she’s on the opposite side to them because she’s being a journalist who is always questioning. Don’t mind her so much. I did think she seemed to have a biased dislike of Corbyn and was massively focused on anti semitism in the face of blatant racist xenophobic Johnson, but she had a right to challenge both. Do t agree whatsoever that the bbc have a left wing agenda. C4 maybe. I’d say the beeb are pretty much old England conservative.
Totally agree. News media scared to death of social media pressure,so, trying constantly to gain favour amongst the vocal minority, which the BBC,in its' ignorance, has aligned itself to,in a futile attempt to appear to be everything to everyone,in order to avoid any criticism, but, which,in fact, alienates itself from its' charter, its'history, its' traditions and..crucially.....its' core audience.
****ing hell man.....there is no way the BBC are currently anything other than anti-British values and corrupt, misleading news reporting. As are,as you say,C4...who might be even worse! I'm not putting it up on here, but there are countless examples.
I reckon Bojo has had a few BJ's off her. I cannot recall her ever asking one pertinent question to him.
Don’t think the BBC News can win to be honest. The left say she is biased to the right and the right see it the other way.
Thought she had attended the end of tory conference party this year, before "tory party" became a byword for sleaze and corruption?
BBC left wing agenda, yet she was pretty much the official voice of the Tories when she should have been questioning those in power. Good riddance either way
Well maybe the BBC is nuetral. But it might be better to take the word of those who have worked there. And some who still do. Going back to Brian Redhead, then John Sissons, Paxman, Humphreys, Marr, Jane Garvey, have all given testament to the fact that the BBC is " left leaning " in Marr's own words, though the others have all put it in much stronger terms. Or Nick Robinson, who was heard saying " the gloves are off now, we are going for them". Or Eddie Mair and James Naughtie, who were both heard on occasion referring on air to the Labour Party as " we". There are others. But it's probably just a coincidence that the BBC have recently appointed a noted left wing figure as Head of News. There may be figures who have said the opposite, having worked there. The names I mentioned can all be looked up and span forty years. But I would be interested in hearing of any ex journalist there who complained of it being any other than Left Wing. I don't mind that it is actually, I just mind being obliged to pay for it if I want to watch another channel.
I think historically that was true but I think in recent times it’s firmly swung in the other direction. There are a number of conservatives on the bbc board I understand. I think critically targeting the current government should be an inevitability for most media bodies but in the British press the Tories get away with it, the papers target their current scapegoat group instead of the government be it Muslims, benefit scroungers, homeless, migrants, all of the above.
100% disagree on the BBC. As I say whichever side some people are on they think they’re on the other.
