Yes, we would need to work hard and take our chances.

I think we are probably capable of taking 4 points off them this season - but only if we actually start taking the chances we create.

If you think about City's attacks, they only use the wings as a means of carrying the ball three-quarters of the way up the pitch. They then look to push the ball inside. Our fullbacks will not have to worry about pace being used to go outside of them. This makes the City attack front quite narrow. Until the sending off United were dealing with City's attacks fairly comfortably.

At the same time City's defence tries to offer space out wide and expect attackers to look for a cross. This leaves Kompany in the same type of position as Lucas. however, if you look at today's match you will find that Kompany is often left solo in that midield area

    With Rafa as manager...yes.

    With Kenny...No.

Those who know me...I am not a wum. I just think tactically Kenny has got it wrong too often.

Look at our league position now. 6th, with Arsenal two bloody points behind us. If that isn't a wake up call now I don't know what is. We have to sort out this bloody **** and not rely on turds like Blackburn to do our dirty work for us, 'cos that was never gonna happen!

Yea but we'd be much higher if we had van persie. He's single handedly won them the last two games. ONE MAN TEAM.

    Welcome Lettinos.

I don't expect Arsenal to be miles ahead. What will they do when Van Persie gets injured?

Liverpool can beat them if they take their chances (need to improve upon yesterday) and don't get a CB sent off.

I agree with Red about van persie, he's keeping them out of jail right now.

Same question, what do we do when Suarez gets injured?

Going back to what Red said about Suarez and Torres, it's been pointed out to me that Suarez and Torres wouldn't have gelled because Torres likes his own company. I agree with that, and anyway we don't have Torres so we need to sort this problem without thinking about him. Besides it's not just Suarez who can score the goals.

Our finishing needs looking at, and fast.

We do have Bellemy lads don't forget that. He should start every game imo.

We do need another striker. Shame Morgan is too young.
