I just don't understand how people can't ask a detailed question so I know for sure what I have to answer
Other than the fitness levels of some players and an upturn in form from Joelinton, there has been **** all improvement. Every one of our keepers is ****e, every one of our defenders are ****e, every one of our midfielders are ****e. Other than Wilson, ASM and Joelinton (Lord almighty have I just typed this?) the rest can Get Tae ****. Only thing which has improved is the noise of the Gallowgate in particular and other small pockets of support around the ground. No new manager bounce, no improvement in pressing, closing down, passing and movement, set pieces, trapping a ball, communication. Gone backwards in shots on target, and our keepers are now ****ing pathetic. Dubs Included. We need an entire squad not 1st team. Man City must have pissed themselves laughing at our team sheet and didn't know which easy route to take first half left, flank, right flank or through the middle. Can anyone tell me the last time Lascelles actually moved forward and put a challenge in on someone? Rather than running away from the ball or chasing someone that's walked past him.
I wholeheartedly agree. But if I put this I get called a negative boo boo. The difference is I see things for what they are. And the fact is there has been slight improvements in some areas with crazy downgrades in others. Has Clark forgot how to play football. Ritchie isn’t a left back. He’s right footed ffs. Murphy is **** and he’s a winger playing left back. Lascelles has gone backwards for the last five years. Willock. He’s a total flop. He’s a 25m pound player and he can’t do nothing. Hayden is completely useless. Longstaff is awful and what is that tash. ASM constantly makes the wrong choice. It’s all about him. Miggy is Forrest Gump. Has he got a single goal or assist this season. Dubz makes mistakes week in and week out. Darlow is even worse. Its ****ing turgid: but…..: It’s ok because Howe is perceived to be doing better. But is he. Is he really doing any better than Bruce was. Are the new owners doing any better. We are the richest club in the world and we have appointed a part time DoF? Wtf?
I'm not negative mate, I'm as positive as they come normally, But I still call brown, sticky, smelly stuff, ****e when I see it. It's not coaching these ****ers need, its a shrink - and I'm not taking the piss. They are beat before they even step foot on the pitch. I think its mentally ingrained that they are a big bunch of over paid losers.
Clubs a mess. It’s going to take a total miracle to survive. The football world is literally laughing at us while we take it up the arse. The PL are literally shafting us. After we have been shafted by Ashley and Bruce. When does this end chaps. Let’s accept relegation and accept we are the pantomime villains that will forever be the butt end of all jokes.

Why hasn’t weak man Howe said anything about the obvious corrupt decisions against us. That’s right because he’s currently being paid a lot of money to be mr silent. No mate. We are really really ****. At first I thought 3 or 4 signings and we'll be okay. That then went to 7 or 8 signings and we'll be okay. It's now at 17 or 18 signings and we might be okay. He needs to stop protecting the players, stop excusing their mistakes and fire a rocket up their arses. He needs to now threaten them that they have no future at the club unless performances drastically improve. Being beaten by better teams is not the issue. It's the lack of effort whilst being beaten, the lack of belief before they even kick off. Even Wilson has now gone to **** and jogs towards people to close them down. There is no ****ing excuse for it.
But he wants to be liked. He’s a yes person. He’s a younger version of Bruce. You will never ever get him throwing any players under the bus because he commands no respect at all. He’s won **** all. He’s done nothing. When Gerrard walked into Villas dressing room I bet you (btw I wanted him and I was slaughtered for that and ridiculed on here) the players went silent and listened. He would have said. “I have done everything in world football and I have a reputation for being a winner. I will respect you if you give and I mean give 110%. Trust me.” Look at Villa now. Villa are no bigger club than we are. I just think our owners missed a massive trick. People are laughing at not only our performances in the pitch but off it.
Our fans don’t want to hear the truth. Just roses and everything’s ok. And that the owners have this. They might: but ****ing hell so far it’s been horrendous.
So far. I have seen a manager appointed that would have been appointed by Ashley by now. A strip of artificial grass that looked like it came from B&M laid in the home dressing room, with 2 exercise bikes to go with it. This is so the players can warm up by playing head tennis (Yeah right, like any 2 of ours could play head tennis ) The tatty SD signs from the ground removed. Some improvements on social media and more regular updates on the club website. Oh and the windows washed. *EDIT* Oh and free fanny pads in the womens bogs allegedly
That’s a slight improvement. I guess. But a lot of people here will say Rome wasn’t built in a day. The takeover took them by surprise. They have sacked Bruce. Ashley is gone. Jesus talk about stating the obvious. These are bare minimum changes so far. The honeymoon is over. The narrative is what are they actually doing to change the direction (relegation imminent) of where we are going. People said well it’s early and behind the scenes things are changing:…. Really. Are they: where? We have a make shift DoF from READING temping over what is one of our most important transfer windows ever. While we look for a permanent one. We have the same scouting network in place. Who have done us so proud so far. Please people don’t say this isn’t football manager because may I remind you we are the richest football team in the galaxy. But I will hold judgement until we have been relegated.
Saying “I have done everything in world football and I have a reputation for being a winner“ does not coach players. We have a very poor quality squad of players. We haven’t had a transfer window since Ashley and Bruce left. Villa’s players are noticeably better. I’m not interested in short term “new manager” bounce. I’m interested in long term improvement. History shows that if a manager publicly throws a player under the bus it never results in that player improving. So why do it publicly? I would guess he tries to manage the players appropriate to the individuals that they are. Some will respond to a rocket and some will respond to an arm over the shoulder. Not everything needs to be done in public. How would you feel if your manager criticised you for making a mistake in front of everyone as opposed to getting you into his office and either giving you a rocket or asking how he could help depending upon what you respond to? Howe needs time. The new Owners need time. They are all aware that we don’t have a great deal of time but that’s no reason to panic.
