He is a ****ing clown like, even his own inner circle are starting to distance them selves now, he won't last much longer. He may have survived COVID-19 but it will ultimately get it's revenge on Boris. Stupid, fat, sloppy haired, Bullingdon ****er.

I didn't realize whoever won the election got to decide what the opposition do. That seems slightly unfair to me.

I love that Lord Frost, Brexit Minister waited for the Strictly Final to resign from the cabinet.

"Decisions" means policies etc. What Labour do is irrelevant as they have no power to make "decisions" such as enacting laws which will affect the man in the street. But you knew that already didn't you? You'll be telling me an illegal party is not a party if there is no music next <laugh>

Labour have no policies, correct. That's why the Tories are in in the first place.

You can't win an election on 'what are you going to do, vote for them?' Even now, with all the Tory ****-ups, Labour have barely laid a glove on them.

Hallelujah, !!!! Therefore the Labour Party is absolutely nothing to do with what The Conservative and Unionist Party has been doing for the last 11 years. You might as well blame the Monster Raving Loony Party as they have the same amount of say in "decisions" as Labour. Or alternatively you could blame the people who are actually responsible. Otherwise it is simply deflection/obfuscation.

Great day out at Ipswich but dangerous during a pandemic tbh.

People came down on coaches and trains, crowded into pubs, packed into the ground and all came out in a massive scrum. The crowd contained a big percentage of 'young adults' who are one of the groups least likely to have themselves vaccinated. As a test I faked an NHS EMAIL, despite having been triple jabbed and producing a negative test on Friday night. The steward gave my phone the briefest glance and waved me in. Very few masks were seen all day.

This claim that it's fine because it's in the open air didn't ring true with me tbh.

I'm not normally a worrier but, after yesterday, I'm in two minds about Arsenal.

You're triple jabbed. You will be fine. Even if you DO catch it, the virus is pretty mild once you are vaxxed. I speak from personal experience

I will be amazed if the Arsenal match goes ahead especially with Sajid or whatever his name is declaring a "state of emergency" in Laaandaan.

To win an election you have to look like a better bet than the current incumbents. That means competing on policy and perceived competence. The decisions Labour have made put them on the lowest number of seats in decades. They've had three goes at removing the Tories in ten years and the gap has gotten larger, not smaller.

Refusing to acknowledge this is deflection/obfuscation.

This is like complaining we haven't won the Premier League because other teams are mean and nasty and won't let us, no matter how **** we are.

I'm not too worried for myself but the people I'm coming into tbh.

I was with a son last night, my two grandchildren today, and more family tomorrow. Then I'm back at work on Wednesday with people getting ready to spend Christmas with their families.

If I don't show symptoms it's probably worse, not better.

A poor opposition is no excuse to lie and cheat ...

... and no reason to humbly accept it without complaint.

Voting between Tories and labour is like choosing which dog shìt you have to step in down a dark alley, the dark one or the light one :D

We were told get jabbed to get back to normal, the vast majority have, I’ve done all that’s been asked of me but I’m still under restrictions which are about to get a lot worse. Line in the sand for me now, we can’t lock down every time a new variant raises its head. 85 hospital admissions out of a population of nearly 70 million is not acceptable to reinstate restrictions. Tell us more, are they unvaccinated ??

It was reported ( by the BBC ?) that most of the new hospital Covid19 admissions in London were unvaccinated. I played golf with my Gasman yesterday, most of the ICU Covid19 admission were unvaccinated!

True, but you don't solve the problem by voting for an opposition so disorganized and hapless that the same problems are going to happen again.

There's no quick fix here. Replacing ****e with ****e just gets us more ****e. Unfortunately we're so obsessed with red v blue that we're stuck in the current situation. Tories doing what they like, Labour alienating their core vote and just waiting for power to be dropped into their lap and seemingly unwilling to do the hard work to earn it.

    This is all true.

And the reason the public and press should voice their opinions on the current government.

There are Tory ministers complaining about the behaviour of the PM so it's not just the general public.

It's all a bit of a shambles at a difficult time we should be pulling together
