Has there been a decent Christmas tune in the last 20 years? Personally, I don't think so. Ed and Elton's latest offering is utterly forgettable. If push came to shove, I'd plump for the Bo Selecta offering, but that ain't allowed airtime now because of the blackface stuff. In my opinion, the last 'Christmas' tune worth tuppence is East 17's Stay Another Day. See ya.
Just watching, on BBC4, Christmas TOTP from 1989 and discovered there was a version of Do They Know It's Christmas? recorded by Kylie, Jason, Bros and Sonia among others. Thankfully Sir Cliff was on it and also the lovely Lisa Stansfield.
I always rather fancied Lisa. And Sir Cliffy as well. I've always swung both ways. Nothing more enjoyable than a fat sausage penetrating your fart pipe.
She wasn't on this one but late 80s/early 90s TOTP often had Anthea Turner on. She was fit. If a little annoying.
Remember Michaela Strachan on The **** Man And Her in the late 80's? I bumped into her at Dundee International Airport in 1992. True story that. She was extremely flirtatious.
Yeah, if we couldn't be arsed to go to the only club in Hitchin we'd go round someone's house and watch people up a club. Can't remember running order but also on after closing time were: The Equalizer, Prisoner Cell Block H, The Twilight Zone and American Gladiators.
Chestnuts Roasting by the Open Fire - Nat King Cole White Christmas - Bing Crosby Blue Christmas - Elvis Stay Another Day - East 17 Last Christmas - Wham My favourite Somewhere Only We Know - Lily Allen
Enough of that Tina. Try me FYI I play football, sing Elvis and Buddy Hoiiy and many others on Karaoke, dance etc Apparrently I'm pretty cool and fit for my age
Yes Yes **** off Meh Never heard it. Cover of Keane's song from 2009? (when I was in my late late teens)
BTW it's a bit insensitive to our dear friend Monny to be talking about chestnuts and fires. Also on the banned list is Deck the Balls with boughs of holly.
