Well on current form we should win so I'm going for a 1 1 draw. Won't be the end of the world if I'm correct but no doubt it will give the LJ dislikes something to whinge about if we don't get 3 points!!!!

    HTL

    RTB <applause>

I suppose we will stick with the same starting 11, or as near as possible. Eg Gooch?

I just want to win to keep with the leaders.

Thanks again RTB for all your good work in setting up the scene, and keeping us all informed, I expect another tight game and us to shade it, our forwards seem to be clicking so long may it continue. we might even hammer them 0-2 who knows. OaU

    Great stuff @RTB
Ipswich will be up for this they have been having a big push to get the crowd up. 28k I think
We've been getting better. Still a bit flakey at times but the good bits have been getting better and longer.
First 20 on Saturday was outstanding. Hopefully this will continue.
    3-1 to the lads

The comment by the mag about being too busy partying to get out of league one, I mean that comment cause the lads are having a bit if Christmas Dinner after the mags posed for a team photos celebrating 3 points like they had won the league!

It's interesting that Rotherham are given plaudits for being comfortably the best team the league. This being latest place I have seen it,

    https://wisemensay.co.uk/efl-expert...-and-reveals-who-they-should-sign-in-january/

We had that bad run of form recently where our gd was destroyed and we dropped a lot of points, deservedly so as we were poor.

Despite that we are 2 points Rotherham and could just as easily have been sitting top if the result against Burton had went the way it deserved to, as most would agree we dominated that night but somehow came away with points.s instead of 3!

If we manage to not have a bad run like before and only have the odd bad result we are in with a shout still somehow!

Lots of twists and turns still to come as well imo, especially if Covid starts to play a big part. I think Rotherham are still in the FA cup and Papa John's so they may have a lot of potential postponements if things get worse which may take its toll. After our game against Arsenal (in theory, although you never know <laugh>) we should only have the league to focus on from next week.

Personally I want all our efforts going to get promoted, as I think 'cups' and injuries have played a part in not going up in previous seasons.

For the Arsenal game, unless they put out a very weakened team the odds are against us winning.

Despite what I said in the previous paragraph I would put the 1st team out as a start... then in the 2nd bring on as many subs as possible for key players. Treat the game as a special day out!

Ps Rotherham will falter at some point!

Agreed. This “new manager bounce” thing is a bit of a worry. Particularly from a team who meticulously study their opponents. If it’s the same manager week after week, you can plan for their tactics. If they bring in a new manager, particularly one who has never managed, you can’t plan for what he’s going to do. A draw would be a decent result all in all imo. I’ll be finishing up my Christmas shopping at the metro centre whilst it’s on!! Bah flipping humbug!!!!

We look good up front again, think we def have goals in us now that Broadhead is playing with Stewart. Im going for a 2-1 win and Broadhead to score 1st.
    Great thread as usual RTB
