**** me!! There's a load of angry keyboard gangsters been having a good old pile on with the 'man in pink'...
My skim reading of this thread has reached such levels I now only take note when I see a flight route
Been vaguely reading a few of the posts about the owners being foreign and are tourists to Hull or whatever, but what about the Leicester owners, they have a fantastic connection with the club and fans and are from Thailand? I get the same sense of feeling from Acun and that can only be a good thing if he's anything like the Leicester owners. Got a really good feeling about this bloke and hopefully he's nothing but good for us. Would take most things after the Allams though, this announcement can't come soon enough, best Christmas present we could all ask for.
It did us good and the city nobody can deny that. They have done some ****ish things or tried but all the same we are at this point where if they had not we would not be where we are now.
haha yes that would be a great present too, I've got my eyes on the euro millions though and if I win I'll put some money towards a new striker
A million will do me. Nice gesture for the striker. Lewandowski would fit in nicely here. I'd take either Lew or Owski if you can't afford both though
might have been asked as not read all way back, but is it too late for him to pull out now if another lockdown and behind closed doors comes in? he might think **** that..
Didn't the Healys start off selling paint down Anlaby Road. Status City or summat. Soon fecked off to one of the Ella's. And I don't mean street. Not that there's anything wrong with Ella street.
Not commented much on this , feel as someone who is unable to attend any games without being in the country I cannot contribute. But the City spirit within me cannot hold it in, the Allams have wasted a good opportunity .but life moves on. I am a psychiatric nurse, developed a gut instinct over the years, I believe we are into something good and that will result eventually bringing together the club and the core fans. That is what as been lacking these last few years, the common denominator 2022 will be a good year but 2023 will be even better, 70 then and hopefully see my first win in the Premier league, last games O-0 v West Brom 0-2 v Chelsea 2014!
I and I guess many can deny it. We don't know where we would be now - for better for for worse. Who knows. We do know they have been twats for the best part of 10 years.
I agree on the twats part, but all the same when you sit and think about what they have done since day 1 till now they have done good as well for the city and the club. Hate can sometimes make people blind.
They have done well as regards the university and castle hill. I think they have treated us fans like **** on their shoes. They were creating a legacy. Young kids were wearing City shirts. They blew all of that Hopefully the new guy can engage the fans and we can all get back to what we love doing and support our HULL CITY. UTT as I twirl my wooden rattle loudly.
I doubt any sane person questions the good they (or at least Allam Snr) have done for the City / region in other respects.
Hopefully so. Can you imagine how Ehab is currently lapping up being associated with a celebrity like Acun!
