Don’t forget if you want it posted you’ll need to allow them enough posting time, and also the paper version is only valid for 30 days. Obviously getting on a phone is easier, and you can get it as a pdf too through the NHS app or website (not the NHSCovid app that’s the tracking one and is different) so presumably you might be able to do that on a computer and print it at home?) You don’t need your booster to have a valid passport so rather than wait until your booster you might as well just get on order the poster version now? That way you’ll be good to go for Boxing Day and if you decide not to you can just order another one later anyway
You will by approx begginging of next year...it was announced yesterday you'll need a booster to qualify....As you say Rover would be better getting the paper pass now then at least that will last a month and in the mean time he can have his booster, another option he could do a lft test and have his result sent to his mobile phone, for this it doesnt have to be a smart phone.
I had a letter sent to me some time ago without a time limit showing I was vaccinated. I have now got my covid pass printed as you suggest. Very easy as long as you check spam folder on computer for e mailed security code. Will need to do it again nearer game as expires 17-12-21. Many thanks
Are they going to be scanning them? I've been to three or four large events where a pass was needed and you've just flashed it as you walk by. I got in somewhere with an out of date one as I didn't realise you had to update it regularly.
Are there rules on indoor bars with a lower limit? Just thinking you can't go into a bar, restaurant, or nightclub over a certain size without a covid pass but 9,999 of you could go and wait in line to get a drink in a football ground without a pass.
I take your point and I think they may well get pulled up on this, but Carlisle are a very long way off having to worry about having a line of 9,999 fans.
Thank you all for the advice, gonna give it 'til the New Year before I think about joining the mass throngs.
Got the App on me phone now, knew that 6yr old GreatGrandkid would come in handy one day. Thanks for all help and advice.
