I'm still seething about the F1, hours later. Never in the history of the sport have 'some' cars been allowed to unlap themselves, and the safety car gone in on the same lap as cars unlapping themselves, because that's very clearly against the rules.

Yet today, to allow Max to win, that's what happened. That result has zero credibility and Masi (the race director) royally messed up.

This one is going to court, which is a dreadful end to an enthralling season.
This sport has lost its way big time on all sorts of levels. This ending to the season is the perfect one at the perfect venue to demonstrate what it has become. I have followed F1 since the seventies, the Hunt/Lauda season, sometimes more closely than others and not really closely since the early 90s. But this is the first season that I can honestly say I don’t care who ends up champion.

It's not a sport - it's just traffic.

I really did care and I'm still seething. The wife got me Silverstone tickets for 2022 for my birthday so for the sake of marital harmony I need to go and enjoy that, but beyond that I'm struggling to see a reason to keep following the 'sport'.

I wonder how many team sponsors are going to be willing to pump millions into developing cars to the nth degree only to see a season's work wrecked on the whim of a race director tearing up the rule book...

I'm not a huge formula one fan, but like many others I was drawn in by the fantastic title race this year. I also wanted Hamilton to get the all time record.
After that debacle, I'm sure I'm not the only one who won't bother in future.

Got Qatar City v Massive on in the background....... talk about Men v Boys, currently 5-0 and could easily be 10 -1 with 20 minutes left........

I really don't know how Qatar fans can get any pleasure out of watching their side simply brush aside the opposition without games being competative........ Yes they are easy on the eye but the games are so boring due to being so one sided........

Their resources mean they can bring on players worth £100m as substitutes whilst others have to use U23's..... This type of buying the league has ruined top flight football.......

Now it's 6-0......

I’m watching The 4 Year plan listening to Flávio saying “sack that F22k in idiot” when our defender made a mistake. <laugh>
Still haven't watched it
Northolt sent me a copy but just never got around to it
Might go and dig it out and put it by the tv

Last season they dropped 5 points to Leeds.

I just saw tEd (<rose>) in it. Flávio is classic sacking Dowie/Sousa and after saying “they were idiots”.
<laugh> I can’t believe our club was run like that. Oh crap Paul Hart is in now… and out again.
