Yeah anything that keeps traditional pubs going is a good thing. And like a lot of sports that are dull as dishwater to watch on tv, most of them are quite good fun to play. I'd include Rugby, Cricket, Snooker, Golf, Darts in that sort of category.
Those tornados in Kentucky, that must have been some scary shhite. I've seen waterspouts / tropical storms, but nothing ever as powerful as a land tornado, don't think I'd want to either. I've had tornado warnings at my hotel when in Chiago once, but never came to anything, despite the fookers phoning me at 3 in the morning.
Was in Florida once and caught the tail end of an hurricane, if that's what a tail end that's dying down is like, don't want to be in a full blown one.
