I think they both had a good claim on deserving it. Which is why a fair decider would have been better.
Not really tiny fragments in this at the end... What it came down to was luck. But you don't win a title without a good helping of luck on your side.
It was fair and if it wasn't the last race nobody would've complained. It's just magnified the situation because it was seen as decisive, but all the races every one counts.
It was unfair because the race director did not follow the rules. Simple. A good analogy is Maradona's hand of god goal. Maradona was amazing, but that goal was against the rules. Max is great, let's see him win it on merit. In today's race, he was beaten by a faster package and had no real answer all race.
Sterling dived vs Denmark this country was fine with it. There's been several rules Hamiltons broken over the season and perhaps got off lightly with. Hamilton lost the race unfortunately.
He did lose it... But in some of the most ridiculous circumstances I have seen... And I've seen a few at this point.
Well that's life its nice to see a new champion. Hopefully he posts Hamilton a second place hat for Christmas signed by Rosberg.
The yanks destroy every sport they take complete control over They were the driving force behind the football super league and only in America can you have a World Series where only American teams can compete
Anyone got the rule wording around safety cars and unlapping of lapped cars? If it’s the rules then fine- if we’ve just made it up for entertainment then that’s wrong, because as much as well all want great racing, we want genuine moments not engineered ones with inconsistent rule application.
So basically, and almost unarguably, Masi has absolutely torn the rule book up for no apparent reason?
