Omicron is mild according to most sources and yet the MSM are saying that in the next 5 months up to 75,000 could be hospitalised, and Austria makes vaccination mandatory.....now I had my 2 jabs and the booster because I have had 2 heart attacks so probably classed as on the vulnerable side, but talk of more boosts in the pipeline are making me a tad sceptical how this is going. I had the flu jab also as I always do,so I am now feeling that enough is enough with the jabbing and restrictions.... something doesn't sit straight.
Not one death from Omicron thus far and that includes it running wild through hospitals in South Africa. The majority of people in hospital with it were already in there for other ailments. Still no deaths. Hardly any need oxygen. The doctors over there say it is like a run of the mill cold. Yet....masks.....boosters....restrictions etc. Looks like a massive overreaction to me. It might be that this variant needs to get through everyone if it's mild .
No more boosters for me, think I have missed out on buying Pfizer shares 18 months ago..... I'll take my chances and balls to it
I think the booster this year is just about acceptable due to Delta still hanging around. The data from Israel shows that it lessens cases and illness. However, if this new variant extinguishes Delta and is more subtle then hopefully no more boosters should be needed. I've suggested all along that the first 3 or 4 years with a new coronavirus is a bit dodgy but it soon morphs in to a much less dangerous beast. This might be the first variant to take it in that direction. My kid certainly ain't getting a needle.
More boosters in the pipeline apparently.....if you have to keep having those every few months someone's making big bucks, my arm won't be seeing another
