I thought at the time that post-Burnley photo was a massive mistake. It sums up the entire mentality of the club and it's slightly skewed. Would any other club even think of doing such a thing while they're in a relegation place. Their forthcoming games will need clear heads and determination, I can't see much of either.
That for each game with Man City and Liverpool, can't see Man Utd doing that or all 3 games? Just asking
Two games running the scum have been in with the away fans, got battered on Tuesday night but couldn't see these two scum fighting their way out of a paper bag..
I'm guessing 4 for Liverpool, 2 for City and 1 for United ... ... I almost went for a Newcastle goal against Liverpool after they've already won the game but thought better of it.
Just been on the NE News on BBC1 that "Newcastle had their moments" despite getting their arses kicked 4-0!
The thing is - and it is as clear as a blinding hot summer's day - that they are now entirely dependent on the tainted money of a repressive regime, via the person of a psychopathic despot, to save them. Even with that, they may fall. If so, the laughter and derision will be world wide, loud and long running.
It was hilarious listening to the Mags singing away, at 4-0 down, pretending they're not concerned and still 'buzzing'. But, in reality, they know Howe is no better than Bruce and Staveley is a clueless chancer ... ... if they fail to spend in January their little hearts will break. ...
Had to pick the daughter up earlier and had talkshite on in the car. A mag rang in and they asked where they needed to strengthen in January. He said the defence...stating that out the current defenders "not one of them would get in a top 6 side". You don't say....
If I was approached by a drunken knuckledragger in a Newcastle bar I'd say my uncle was Jackie Milburn
Reckons it was with his job ... ... fair enough, I expect Johnson doesn't have much time to walk his dogs himself tbf.
I was in the local before the game, chatting to a mag who was waxing lyrical about Howe. I asked if he really thought he was the owners first choice, “yes”, was his reply I then told him that they are struggling to fill the most important role at the club, a DoF and realistically that should be top of the list. Obviously the argument being that he decides which direction to take, how the club will play their football and also making the change in managers easier, since he should have the same mindset as the previous one, so the players should still fit the system. I was told I was wrong, the managers appointment is the most important and they will get a DoF to suit the way Howe plays. Christ if he manages to save them, ie get above 3 other **** teams, the moulds for the bronze statue will be getting sand casted before the final whistle of the season
